At the light voice he turned his head, reaching out a hand to brush the hair from her face. “Aren’t you always tired? He knew she was still a little bit mad that he hadn’t come out of his room until recently but he was always so bad at making up for that sort of thing. Even showing affection was something that he had to work on, “I”m…sorry Cat..”, he took her face in one hand, watching how her cheek disappered underneath it. Marshal leaned closer, the kiss slow and sweet, something that most people didn’t assume a man of his size could do.

She had been rather upset with the large man for not coming out, that much is true.  But just from his words she did know that he was sincere.  She’d always had a knack for hearing sincerity [and often times imitating it when needed] in people’s voices.  What she hadn’t expected was his hand on her face and one of the sweetest kisses she’d had the pleasure to experience.  With a soft little sigh, she stood on tiptoe and wrapped her arms around his neck just to stay close.
