Meerkats have excellent eyesight and can spot predators in the air from more than 300 meters (984 feet) away.
They also have great peripheral vision and the dark patches around their eyes cut glare from the hot desert surface.

Did you know🤯:
The majority of deer are shades of light to medium brown. However, white stags are not only creatures of myth and legend but also exist in real life.
A condition called leucism causes the deer's hair and skin to lose its natural colour, causing the stag to become a snowy white.
When white stags are spotted, it is often not publicised to prevent poachers from finding them as they are viewed as trophies, and can sell for thousands of dollars.

Did you know🤯:
Tarsiers can leap a distance of 40 times their body length, flying over 4.8 meters (16 feet) in a single leap.
Unfortunately, they are now confined to only a few places in Asia, and are rapidly disappearing from their remaining habitats. The Siau Island Tarsier is listed as 1 of the 25 most endangered primates in the world.
The specific dietary and habitat requirement of the tarsiers make them nearly impossible to breed in captivity, and only around 50% of tarsiers put in captivity are able to survive. As such, habitat conservation is their only hope.

A family of peafowl is called a "bevy", or sometimes a "party", a "muster" or an "ostentation".

Fun fact🤯:
The incredibly colorful and beautiful bettas you see in stores are actually a product of selective breeding. In the wild, bettas are a dull brown or green color and their fins are smaller and much more understated.

Emperor penguins are the tallest and heaviest of all living penguin species, reaching about 115 cm (45 in) in height and weighing up to 40 kg (88 lbs).
Been trying out a new coloring app lately! It's a whole different art style but it still looks amazing :) 🐦

Humpback whales use an inventive feeding technique known as bubble net feeding where a group of whales swim in a circle below prey. As the whales shrink the size of the circle, the prey become confined in the bubble ring "net," allowing the whales to swim up through the middle of the ring and eat numerous prey at once.
