honestly , send out respect for non-native english speakers. send out respect for the effort they’ve put into learning this damn language. send out respect for how strong they are having countlessly encountered humiliations for when they mess up their writing. for when they don’t know something. for when they get shit on for speaking their own language. have decency & respect for them.

okay, so… i’m seeing something that is fucking annoying and pretty ignorant.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a character that you are writing use their native tongue… and for someone to take issue with someone who is providing translation on hover? guess what, you’re being ignorant and lazy. fuck this whole ‘common courtesy’ bullshit — if you’re too lazy to hover and read a translation, that’s on you and you can unfollow… like i get being frustrated by seeing foreign languages that you don’t understand without translation on hover… but, uh — you can highlight, right click and copy it from the dash and use google fucking translate to get the basic idea.

add to that? there are a lot of writers on tumblr whose native tongues are NOT english, so there are a lot of people being put out of their prospective comfort zones to learn and practice english… is that not enough? god, i hate tumblr sometimes…
