HELLO IM ALIVE!!! im thinking so hard about sword of the sea, there's been so much new information lately and its super exciting!!

i want to point out some things i noticed from the trailer and other new clips!

DOLPHIN TALL ONE!!! at least thats what theyre implied to be, since the statue is just like the other tall one statues (humanoid, animal head, big hole in chest). there are other dolphin statues shown throughout the trailer, but this one stood out to me because its clearly placed in a significant area!

i read this blog post (linked at the bottom of this post), and this section in particular seems very interesting! right after that piece of text, there's a clip that shows a mural of a humanoid that looks kinda like the wraith, but not quite! i wonder if thats the mysterious character that they mention?

this was posted in the discord server (as part of the wallpaper collection) and shows that there are most likely a lot of other wraiths! although i assume most of them are just soulless statues. it looks like theyre identical to player-wraith (most noticeably because of the large torso), unlike the mural shown above.

another wallpaper, and also a great shot of the chains! they look pretty much identical to the ones in abzu. the fish and kelp shown throughout the trailer also look super similar to abzu, which makes me sooo happy :D

anyway thats all i can think of right now, im just really excited for this game and i cant wait for it to be released!!

i imagine that while the hunter is sailing to the island, the diver sees her and swims up to say hello because she doesn't see boats very often! they might have to deal with a language barrier, but i'm sure they could make it work ❤️💛

i dont usually look at what other people are saying about abzu lore (bc im afraid of being wrong) so i dont really know if its existence is common knowledge

but like. i guess im just posting this so that, if you arent aware of the diver's corpse on the floor,,,, now you are 🧍🏽

-the wiki says he was imprisoned at some point, i think thats very interesting to think about

-i imagine he dressed a lot fancier than he does during the events of The Pathless, since he had followers that were alive to admire him. then when they died, he dressed in a more plain and comfortable way, prioritizing function over aesthetics

-when he put on the mask and became nonhuman, receiving a tail and third eye, i imagine he also was able to consciously choose to deepen his voice and grow taller
