i hate it when people act like charlie dalton is some stupid little boy that has no smarts or determination in his academics. i mean, when you actually look at the first time we see him and hear him talk, he has his academic honourary badges on his blazer. knox basically has the same amount he does, but he doesnt get bashed around because hes not a cocky rebel to the degree that charlie is

'oh but he said meeks helps him with latin and trig and blah blah blah', alright, i hear you. but let me raise you this: having a more advanced student help you out doesnt make you a dumbass all of a sudden. i have four friends who consistently yield good grades at the end of each term, even they need help at times, because its natural to get confused and it doesnt dumb you down to recieve a little bit of help every now and again.

besides.. theyre ALL in the study group, its not like its just meeks and charlie one-on-one. we see neil, cameron and charlie struggling with a trigonometry question. his parents literally want him to become a banker, i fear that is not achievable without the necessary high school grades.

hes not STUPID. he just likes to have fun and be a silly guy, and he can do that while having good grades

besides, they probably wouldve kicked him out of welton if he stayed below a certain term average. its not just what about the parents are paying, welton literally prides itself in how smart their students are, how well the students have been chosen

charlie isnt dumb, he gets occasional help just like every single other poet. being rebellious and non-conforming doesnt mean he has negative brain cells.

you can't, you CANNOT tell me that meeks and pitts didn't get the weirdest pets. the poets would turn up for a hangout and there'd be a giant snail chilling next to the couch

snails, stick insects, frogs, tortoises, lizards, bearded dragons, newts, snakes, you name it.

OMG YOUR RIGHT!!! as someone who is basically Meeks incarnate but just stupid I currently have a snake and I've had 2 frogs, a green anole lizard, a perch, catfish and a tadpole I named wiggles :3

I am also obsessed with how giant snails drink OMGG have you ever seen them they are SOOO cuttteee!
