I am today openning tumblr after months of NOTHING to speak about one of my favorite poet, Gerard Pitts.

Dare I say that he might be the best rep of an actual quiet kid and the most relatable poet out of all of them, even more than Todd?

I know that a lot of the people in this community are attached to Todd Anderson, saying how much of a good shy kid rep he is and how relatable he is, and I couldn't agree more! He has a deep character (just like all the poets in their way ofc) but I tend to think that people forget how much of a good rep for this type of teenager Pitts is too.

Pitts is a part of the group but he's not mentionned a lot. Unlike the other poets he's quiet, he doesn't have that much line, no "side quest" like Charlie, Neil, Todd or Knox, and it's also mentionned that he's struggling with his studies. He might be one of the less fan's favorite poet out of all of them, but he is a very good character.

For me, he is one of the best quiet kid rep I can see in media, (from what I know). Like, he's somehow forgotten a lot by the dialogue and the lines but he's always here, they always bring him into the party and he's always here with the poets. They don't forget him and he never forget them. We can see that when Charlie's telling Todd about Neil's death, he's here with the others looking at them. He's a part of the group despise being quiet and I LOVE HIM for that. He's here for his friends, he cares, he has one best friend (Meeks in this case).

Pitts you'll forever be in my heart as the one and true, quiet kid.
