What was your first view of Rapture?

Sims doesn’t have a color to explain the way Rapture makes him feel. Even before the suit, when he still remembered the way words felt on his tongue, he wouldn’t have a thing to say about that. What he remembers about his first view of Rapture is the weight sat up on his shoulders; all that loud, excited cooing and eager pointing all for a passing whale. ‘Papa, look!’ And he did; he looked at everything but that shining city, because beautiful brown eyes implored him to look toward the sea instead.

Now, though. Behind the helmet, all he sees is Rapture. Every gritty, bloody detail of this awful place. Sometimes, though, he’ll feel a tug at his arm. “Mister B, look,” she’ll say. And he’ll look out beyond the glass, hoping to see the whale, but she’ll tug again, turning his attention away from the sea. “An angel.”
