Hey Levi, I saw your review on those Voldemort contact lenses and was hoping you could give me a hand. I'm wanting to buy red contact lenses but I'm a bit confused with all this BC/DIA and power stuff. The info I have on my prescription is for Sphere, cyl and axis, so I'm not sure what it's asking for
Hi! Sorry for the late reply. The BC/DIA means the size of the diameter of the color contact and the base curve. Since there is only one option for both left and right, just choose that option. As for the prescription, it should say in your sphere cyl axis. This link will explain: http://www.visiondirect.co.uk/eye-care-centre/understanding-your-contact-lens-prescription. So after you read this link, your sphere, or another words, power, will be the prescription. So if your sphere is -2.00, then that is your prescription for left or right. Hope this helps!!

Thoughts on Otakon? Well, for one, it was probably very tiring as I tried to do as much photoshoots as I can because I really put a lot of effort during Otacrunch when I just came back from Taiwan. However, the photos that I have seen in each photoshoots were surprisingly well done so I am sooooo looking forward to receiving each and every one of them. I really hope you guys don't mind the spams of it hnnnnnggg. Second, I was a bit disappointed with the guests of this year's Otakon. I don't like any of them as most of them were dub voice actors and there were just a few I was a bit interested but it wasn't put into priorities as I think I would rather do photoshoots at that time or walking around con than visiting them. Third, I realized more of myself I was more shy to talk to people than I thought I would be. If there was a group of people surrounding over them, I would be like nope no way and I would only look at them from afar... that's why I couldn't meet as much online friends I knew QQ which I regret a bit. Fifth, I did however met all of my old cosplay/anime friends again after 2 years and I enjoyed spending time with them. It's like the old days at Otakon all over again haha! From all three of us from the group, those two still haven't changed about managing their times and I have to get their shit together as always haha. Overall, this year's Otakon is the best I could have done. Time ran by so fast I couldn't go see any of the panels or events and such and this year I wanted to focus more on pictures since I love looking back at the memories of it. I do not know if I can continue going to Otakon after this year as education and studies are my priorities but cosplay is one thing I don't think I will quit soon. I do hope I can come back next year and the year after so I will defnitely have to see. Cosplaying in US is still much more fun for me than in Taiwan because its definitely the people who I've spent that are the most important and its just really fun to work on cosplay together rather than alone. We will see. But for now, I'm really tired haha and I still have to see other people who I have not seen at Otakon before going back to Taiwan in a week sighhhhhh
Hall pictures of me as Leo and Tam as Corrin~! Waiting for pictures of our Fire Emblem photoshoot hnngggggg
Riven's Ultimate Sword Tutorial Very very simple. Materials: Insulation foam, Heavy Duty Wires, Green Cellophane 1) Cut the base of Riven's sword. It doesn't have to be exact like mine, be creative. (From picture #1) 2) Cut the wires and connect it with the base. Don't just stick it into the foam. I use hot glue glue for sturdy. (from picture #2) 3) Using leftover foam, cut little pieces and add some shapes onto the sword. You don't want a plain straight sword. Riven's sword has pieces of rocks onto it. Glue that onto the base. Also, you see from picture 3 how it's all scratched up? You can use anything to indent the foam such as the tip of fork, pencil, a stick, anything and draw random lines onto the foam. If you think you don't have enough wires and it's a bit bended, feel free to use more wires. 4) From picture 4&5, measure how much cellophane you need to cover the spaces in between. Hot glue it. Just glue however you want. Don't worry about the strings that the hot glue leaves on. It looks cool if it's there. 5) on picture 6, this is just extras. But Riven's sword has green effect even in between the foams, not only just where the wires are. In the photoshoot where I'm just sitting down, you can see green stuff holes. Feel free to just cut the base up a little bit and stuff more cellophane inside. 6) Paint. Weather. Gloss it. Do however you want to make it your own Riven's sword :))! 7) For extras, you can also add lights in between the wires but I poor GG. So I decided not to do that. If you have any questions, let me know.
