@tompetertrash
Saw a totally new progressive take that was basically like “kink is for white people” or something which basically implied pee oh sees somehow don’t have common kinks like CNC or incest roleplay and all it’s giving is the noble savage. But for fucking and jerking off. 😂 It’s horseshoe theory again lads.
Enforcing racism as a standard. Which also infers the fact the other non white people are directly considered protected special groups.
We already knew this but there it is.
*asks a question* *gets an answer* “im not reading that”
i love that it’s a carefully worded, well-written, non-inflammatory answer too. which asker wouldn’t know because they won’t read it. i love website
you are not going to believe what they did with Books
Iranians vs leftists and liberals
Mothers who date predators know what they’re doing and they know when their new man is perving on their underage daughters they’re not stupid they’re enablers.
buddy i think you may be very stupid
1. “semitic” is a language category
2. wilhelm marr popularized the term “antisemitism” as a more scientific-sounding alternative to judenhass (literally “jew hatred”) in the late 1800s, so for those of us with a sense of historical time that’s before the nazis. the term has only been used to mean jew-hatred.
3. are butterflies flies made of butter, or is that etymological fallacy?
4. okay enough time spent on this nonsense, i am going to eat frozen fruit
Influencer couple Jesse and Ashley Ridgway are opening up about a devastating family decision ... revealing they terminated a pregnancy afte
They killed their child for being disabled and are talking about this “devastating family decision” and the “emotional impact” it’s had on them as if they are the victims.
You didn’t need to do that.
And then they go on about how killing their child was the “best decision for their family” and how they hopefully may have another child in the future.
I hope they’re aware disabilities can happen after birth, too.
That poor baby.
ohmygod he put the eyes in the wrong spot .....................randy go back.....................
which could mean nothing

ok this too
In Prince's funky name, amen.
Millennial here. All the above and:
Please send me the training or tutorial in a written format with maybe some screenshots if necessary. I don't want a video tutorial. I don't want to waste time trying to scroll to the exact moment in the instructions that I need and then have to pause and replay it because I missed the .01 seconds of actually relevant information.
Please. Text. Maybe some images for clarification. I can read. I promise.
Skimmable, SEARCHABLE instructions. If they're long, there should be a hyperlinked table of contents.
Elder Millennial here cosigning HARD
If you really need to show a movement, embed a gif or 15-scond-or-less video in the text, like Jod intended.
I work in science communications and I am constantly hearing about how we need to try to do video to appeal to the newest generation of scientists and it's like do you think physicists who can't read are a good idea?
Gen z and please just give me text!
This. All of this. AH PLEASE GOD NO MORE INTERMINABLE TUTORIALS THAT TURN OUT TO BE NOT NEARLY ENOUGH ABOUT THE SUBJECT BUT ALL ABOUT THE TUBER IN LOVE WITH THE SOUND OF THEIR OWN VOICE.
Just write a damn article and stick in a few screenshots or whatever where necessary.
...FFS.
A written tutorial is required for regulatory work and we still get companies trying to sell software that only offers videos (and the now obligatory chat bot that refers to video tutorials...)
My dual learning style millennial butt needs to be able to READ ALONG with any spoken instructions (and ideally make handwritten notes) otherwise The Thing will not be absorbed (which is why I am SO terrible about name retention)
Emphasising this line from cinemaocd above because it really nails it: do you think physicists who can't read are a good idea?
All of this!
the video format is very powerful! watching the thing be done is an ancient form of learning, and it's cool that we no longer have to actually know someone who can do the thing to access that kind of information.
although it's a damn rare tutorial video that's shot well enough to be anywhere near as useful as Actually Being There. but still! it's good! a modern convenience!
i would still always like text also. ideally a diagram.
reading is a skill and here's the fun bit, the part of your brain that retains information is much better at retaining information that you READ than WATCHED
A good, well written how to has been the norm for thousands of years and we have evolved to work with that, but a handy youtube video where we can SEE what is being explained means we can interpret bad instructions when we don't understand, but its the badly written bit that we're going to remember, not just as an old, but the same is true of every human being.
Video is useful, but a written version is preferable, also we can print it out and annotate the hell out of it
Oh. Just letting yall know that AI has a body count. To the point where there's a Wikipedia page on deaths caused by AI, most of which are suicides that AI had straight up *encouraged*, and several that are AI talking to people with paranoid schizophrenia and telling them their loved ones are plotting to kill them or are possessed by demons.
There’s also that whistleblower from Open AI who “killed himself” after he made his dinner, made plans for later, and ransacked his house. But we don’t talk about that.
No, no, no, please DO talk about that actually because this is the first time I've heard about it!
The whole story is insane, his mom has done several interviews, and the basic premise makes zero sense.
Fucked. Up.
Netflix just got called out by the artist who made that painting for Michael that Ron Zonen mentions in their fuckass documentary. Zonen, one of the prosecutors, tries to allege this painting depicts Michael Jackson as Christ, as if to allege that MJ was this delusional freak of nature that thought he was godlike and untouchable. Also to manipulative viewers that may be religious. This is the reality 👇
really disturbs me how many men I encounter that say they rarely if ever cry. when I ask them when’s the last time they cried they have to think hard about it for a minute before coming back with some answer like “at my grandmas funeral 5 years ago”. no offense but what the fuck? the only conclusion I can draw is that men are emotionally castrated and experience life to a narrower degree than does the average woman
We’re built different
Only ever feminist types say stuff like that. I think they’re coping because they’re insecure.
I cry when it’s warranted. I have an even keel. Being upset doesn’t always warrant a cry. Nor does being sad. Crying regularly isn’t indicative of emotional maturity. Crying when you are moved to do so is.
Attitudes like ‘men who rarely cry must be emotionally stunted’ aren’t going to help anyone.
Surely the goal is simply being able to off load emotional and mental baggage, not the method of doing so.
A man might play a sport, swim or run, releasing pent up tensions by doing that.
He might paint, play music or write and lay down his loads that way.
I applaud people who work on ways for men to be able to get together, to be able to ‘get things off their chests’ in situations that make them feel able and happy to do so.
We need to make that available to as many men as possible.
Men and women are all human. But we have differences. And one of those is in how we process and deal with emotions.
We can’t just expect men to do it exactly the same as women and then find them wanting when it doesn’t always happen.
There’s nothing wrong with a man crying, perfectly true. But there’s equally nothing wrong with a man who doesn’t often feel the need to cry.
Just as long as he doesn’t make the mistake of holding everything inside.
Because that really isn’t good for you, guys. It’ll find someway to get out and you might end up just suffering more when it does.
How you get it out doesn’t matter. Just as long as you do.
Take Care of Yourselves….
Feminists expect men to act exactly like women because feminists are out of touch with reality. It’s fine for men to cry but men who don’t cry a lot or at all aren’t doing anything wrong, it’s natural for different people to express their emotions differently.
Rightoids: *make fun of leftoids for saying cartoon characters would agree with their politics*.
Also rightoids:
It is especially amusing that of the two shows, Demon Slayer is the one where demons are unambiguously evil and explicitly have to be destroyed to the last as part of the good ending, right down to Yushiro slowly losing his demonic traits.
Frieren meanwhile is all but flashing a neon sign saying that the eventual plan is for demons to co-exist with humanity in some way.
I'll never understand how it is people decide which shows to latch onto politically and which not to.
