Personally, I headcanon him as bisexual and ship him with Al Neri. Imo their relationship is almost similar to Tom and Sonny- the intelligent bookish one and the angry tactless one lol. Plus, Sonny taking Tom in as a kid kinda reminds me of how Michael helped bail Al out of prison and brought him into the family (plus both Tom and Al lost their parents at a young age). Just some stuff I’ve noticed, but I’m curious what you think!
(For the record, I don’t personally ship Tom and Sonny since I see them as brothers like in canon, but I definitely find their dynamic interesting. I think all the characters in this franchise have such fascinating dynamics with each other ^^).

Oh Michael Corleone my abhorrent little meow meow
My headcanons on Mike are split into two sections:
I honestly headcanon that Michael is the only straight Corleone sibling. Vito is the most concerned that he's the gay one beause he looks and acts the most feminine of the brothers (a thing that is brought up in the books). But even if Michael were bi or would want to experiment with his sexuality, he would never because he's too stubborn to admit that his dad is right.
Another quick headcanon I have is that besides Sonny, Tom is closest with Michael (which Sonny is very jealous of).
Things I Cant Genuinely Headcanon But Are Fun
I am a big fan of transmasc Michael. Something about the way his dad treats him and the way hes talked about and treated by the rest of the Corleone family (not only blood family but members of the mafia family at large) really just makes it make sense. Also Im trans and Im projecting. But I could never actually headcanon it in the actual context of the movies or books. Just a fun thing to think about.
Worth noting is, of course, that Michael corrupts everything and everyone he touches. Thinking about him in specifics ships (especially him and Kay) is so sad because its destined to end poorly.
This is all to say, bi Michael seems to be a popular consensus within the fandom, which makes sense, and I've also seen a lot about Michael x Al Neri. I understand the appeal and where the headcanons come from!
