Doctor: $140,000 a year
Furry artist on Patreon: $160,000 a year
I’m sorry for the inaccuracies, Doctor Yiff
Well, furry artists are typically more competent and courteous than your average doctor, so I can see that.
Did you just legitimately tell me that a person who draws wolf ass is more competent than a dude who spent 8+ years in a university to give you your lung transplant?
doctors are bullshit and furry artists perform an infinitely more valuable service to society compared to them
You will die in 7 days
It took doctor’s like 10 years to diagnose what was wrong with me, some insisting I was faking for attention while a furry artist I knew just went “that sounds like crohn’s” after hearing me complain once and ended up being right
Also I can’t go to a doctor and ask them to draw Rouge the Bat wider than she is tall with tits to match, now can I
You could if you weren’t a fucking coward

FINALLY THE EXAM PICTURES ARE UP! This is my version of mr Hyde with sarcoidosis! It´s a full-face silicone mask, with separate upper and lower lip, as well as some flatmould sarcoidosis around the mouth and nose.
Application time was 3 hours! Hope you like!
The last pictures of the year will be of the exams! Therefore I’ll be posting the pictures on tuesday, so you can see everything people did^^
Week 34: Exam work
Yesterday was the 17th of may so no update then! Happy national day to Norway!
These last few weeks we´ve started our exam task! We were to find an antagonist from a known classical movie, and then age them up to the age they´d be now if they were still alive/real people.
I chose Mr Hyde from Jekyll and Hyde the movie from 1941. This means my hyde will be 110 years old.
I’m giving him sarcoidosis based on pictures I´ve seen from the movie. This also allows me to not make the eye wrinkles! I´ve now finished the sculpting, and have made all the different moulds I need. This week will be making the applications, and having the first test makeup!
Week: 33?? something like that
Her pictures didn´t arrive untill today, so sorry for the delay everyone!
But finally, here´s the long awaited tattoos I did!
Time used: 10 minutes
Time used: 70 minutes
Time used: 25 minutes
Time used: 30 minutes
Week 30: Update will come in week 31 due to my pictures being on a different camera, and the owner has left for the US. I’ll try to contact her about it, but I don´t have them at the moment!
thanks for your patience!
Week 29: UMA Expo in London
This weekend me and most of my class went to UMA Expo in London and it was SO MUCH FUN!
There was a bunch of brilliant body painting going on everywhere!
We got to taste a fine collection of different bloods
There was many different SFX makeups walking around as well! There was also a lot of stands were people did different makeup!
Shaune Harrison (Harry Potter, Captain America, World War Z) was there and did things like character makeup and a headcast.
Brian Kinney (Sons of Anarchy, CSI, Insidious) was there and had panels on different flatmould applications!
Greg Cannom (Titanic, The Pirates of the Caribbean, The curious Case of Benjamin Button) had a panel where he talked about his career, showing pictures never shown before!
I also met and talked to Corey and Kenny, but I never got their last names, so I don´t really know what they´ve done! If you know their last names, please contact me! I also talked to an older gent named Charles from Canada. I have neither picture, nor last name of. All of these three were very talented still!
And being the sucker I am for tattoos, I got myself a very stereotypical yet pretty fake tattoo on my stomach!
Then on monday me and my friend Trine spent 8 hours at Heathrow before we set off into the sunset, returning to Oslo!
This weekend was so much fun! I got to show my portfolio to Shaune Harrison, Greg Cannom, Corey, Kenny, and Charles, and they all liked what I´d done! They especially liked my tattoo designs. Both Greg and Charles had a lot of constructive critisism and I learned a lot. I was going to show my portfolio to Brian as well, but I didn´t find him on the floor.
I’m going to update some of my tattoo designs, make them a bit more 3D and SFX-y for next year!
Happy easter/holidays everyone!
I won´t be updating this one untill week 31 or so! The week after the holidays, I’ll be in england at UMAE, and then after that I’ll be at the norwegian oera and ballet for work experience. I’ll post updates from there!
see you all soon!

What tools do you use for specific details when sculpting clay?
We got most of our sculpting tools from a shop called tiranti in England.
For fine details, I tend to use nb 2 and 4 from the left, and also the pointy end of the tool to the far right. I also have some even smaller tools, but I couldn´t find pictures of them. They´re basically the same as nb 2 and 4, only smaller. We also make our own tools with hollow metal tubes and metal wire!
Hope that helped :)
