PLEASE JUST SHOW ME THE CASSEROLE RECIPE
For a split second my dumbass thought the Fukushima nuclear accident had fried the rice
(song review) shit and weird sounding. 10/10
this is from a real diary by a 13-year-old girl in 1870. teenage girls are awesome and they’ve always been that way.
Read this - oh my goodness, this girl was wonderful.
Where can I read this in full?
It’s from Real American Girls Tell Their Own Stories, and that particular section is by Martha Carey Thomas who grew up to be a suffragist, linguist and renowned educator, as well as a badass lesbian.
Little is known about the origins of this practice, although there is some unfounded speculation that it is loosely derived from or perhaps inspired by ancient Aegean notions about bees’ ability to bridge the natural world with the afterlife.
#me shoving my head into a beehive: yall would not fuckin BELIEVE the day i’ve had
@cardozzza
I love the mental image that tag creates
The bees when you give them the tea:
do you think
Me: -so after it became apparent that ‘retarded’ had become a term of abuse, educators and psychiatrists switched to other terms like ‘handicapped’ or ‘special needs’ in an attempt to -
George Orwell, whom I’ve dragged forward in time with my arcane powers because I’m lonely and want someone to talk to: You have a telephone in your pocket? It listens to you all the time?
Me: Never mind about that, the point is, young people now mock each other by sending the wheelchair emoji - that’s a type of electronic heiroglyph - to suggest mental deficiency and shout SPESHUL!!!! while doing offensive imitations of disabled facial expressions and posture. So any attempt to lexographically make crimethink impossible is pretty much doomed because the meaning of words in everyday conversation can’t be controlled by a dictionary entry, no matter how many Ministry of Truth employees-
Orwell: It reports your location to the telephone company at all times?
tumblr is the root of half the internets trends and memes
the curse of being on this website is knowing that shit like cottagecore and dark academia and the obsession with mushrooms and whatnot started on this godforsaken platform and not tiktok
the mushroom thing started with a fucking shitpost where it ends with "you cannot kill me in a way that matters" "im not fucking scared of you!"
"op what does this mean" "decay is an extant form of life"
I KID YOU NOT
does the phrase ‘fucked up and evil’ imply you can be fucked up and good
Some people around me keep live black widows in jars. I feel it's a bad idea. Am I wrong?
Well… It’s not a good idea per se. Their venom is potent enough to hurt adults and kill children. But the same goes for horses, and those are common animals to keep around.
Black widows are very docile. People have been known to handle them without any issue (which I have to stress I don’t recommend you do, because a bite can send you to the hospital, but it does illustrate how docile they are). They’re also very slow, like other orb weavers, so they can’t suddenly bolt.
As long as you keep it in an escape-proof enclosure, there isn’t really anything wrong with it.
EDIT: Horses are not venomous! They’re capable of hurting and killing people, but not because they have venom!!
