I loved my job up until last week. I realized maybe 3 people total like me (clients and staff) and that’s fucking depressing. Lately I feel like I’m not doing a good enough job because of how I’m being treated by management. It doesn’t help that I’m being victimized because my boss’s husband was bullied by my father in law fucking 10 years ago. I really wanted to love it here but it’s so fucking hard when I can’t seem to catch a break on difficult clients. I’ve voiced my concerns and asked for help but I’m just not getting the support I need to thrive here. (PS love ya, Ryan. Feel better and I miss you!)

I’ve rewatched the ad at least three times to try and figure out why some folks are angry with it and I’m at a loss.  All I see here is: Be a better human. Set a better example. Encouraging strength of character and integrity over typical “machismo”.

I love my job

When I mess up or do something wrong, my boss doesn’t pull me into her office, write me up, and send me on my way. She talks WITH me about what happened, and helps me realize a better way I could have done things.

THAT BEING SAID if you see that I’m doing something wrong, don’t just yell at me and not tell me how to fix the situation. How can you expect me to not fuck up again if I don’t even know what I did wrong in the first place?
