I might as well post this here too.
On Friday, we had to let our oldest and last cat go. She was about 20, we had her 19 years. She had my whole heart and I have been a wreck leading up to and through this. My shadow, my familiar, and a huge piece of my heart, all missing. We've been dreaming about her, and I wake up and feel like she is there. Anyway, it sucks right now, and I know it will for a long, long time. I would give any part of myself for another few years with her, but at least she can see Pookie and Otis again.
Song credit is Panthers on the Mountain by Jon Charles Dwyer via the Old Gods of Appalachia bandcamp list, please support them if you like it.
And yes, she is the cat in my last art post. My grumpy girl.
