Ranks - Overview
Squires -- New Recruits
Faction: None. Powers: 1 Latency Duties: To volunteer to work with each of the factions and to work with as many different huntsmen as they can.
Huntsmen -- Journeymen
Faction: 1 of the 5 factions Powers: 1 Latency, 1 Talisman Duties: To follow the direction of their Faction Commander, to encourage new recruits, keeping a keen eye for those who show an aptitude for the work of their faction. Later, to take on a Squire and mentor them into being full Huntsmen.
Faction Commander -- Leadership
Faction: 1 of the 5 factions, having served in that faction for no less than 5 years. Powers: 1 Latency, 2 Talismans Duties: To lend their voice to the citadel council, lead their faction by example, and to ensure the continued strength of their faction by approving squireships and petitioning the citadel council when a squire is ready to become a full huntsman. Serves for a period of 1 year, with a limit of 5 consecutive terms.
Senior Huntsman / Knight Errant -- Former Leadership
Faction: 1 of the 5 factions, having served in that faction for no less than 6 years, the last of which as a Faction Commander. Powers: 1 Latency, 1 Talisman* Duties/Restrictions: To serve as any other Huntsman might; showing deference and faith in their Faction Commander. Additionally, they are expected to share their wisdom and experience in ways that do not undermine their Faction Commander or the Order. They are also charged with finding and recruiting new members to the Order.
