noviceadmiral:
“That’s correct. This base is a part of a long tradition in Toya. This was my father’s old HQ before he retired to become a professor at the Naval Academy. The navy recommended that I take command of the medical side of things, since there’s only a handful of us trained to specifically care for injured kanmusu for things beyond what buckets can do.” Kigiku said, while piling up some medical records.
“So feeling nice and healthy? It always makes me happy to know kanmusu that are visiting are in good shape. A lot of times the girls that come by aren’t in the best of spirits or health. At one point, I had patch up a small destroyer that lost several of her limbs…So, I’m sure you understand,.”
“Anyways, what may I do for you Miss Kashima?”
“Goodness, that’s a long tradition. Amazing~!” Kashima exclaimed, clasping her hands together. “Ah, you have such a big responsibility then! You must hear this a lot but it’s truly inspiring to hear this!”
Kashima was very much in awe of the good doctor. She clearly has it together, Kashima herself is lucky to make it to base on time, though she works as hard as everyone expects of her.
“Even though I’m a kanmasu myself, I’m not really knowledgeable about how buckets work, or our own medical needs.” Though Kashima does know basic first aid at least. “But I’m not sure if it’s anything you could help me with.”
