the shen comic where they say that "girl shen" has a personality and "boy shen" does not despite them technically being the same person is intresting to me. I wonder if any group of people out there have the experience of feeling like a hollow husk without personality in "male form" but find themselves in "girl form"
It's always fun when an author claims their work contains no politics, because either they're blatantly lying, or they genuinely think they're telling the truth and you get a lot of insight into what assertions about human nature they regard as so obviously and self-evidently true as to lie outside the political sphere.
tagging/content warning systems for media are often mocked outside of fanfic which is kind of too bad because i do think it'd be a really interesting vector of literary analysis to examine what the author or publisher thinks they should be informing their audience about vs. the actual content of the media in question
tagging my work devoid of any explicit sexual content as "dubcon" and sitting back to watch people fight over what i could have meant by this like i'm a roman emperor watching gladiators being devoured by lions in the coliseum

Burrowclan Camp
I Was having trouble figuring out how the camp would look like/work and drawing it in 2D was giving me a headache. So I made it in Planet Zoo 1. It took me like 3 hours and I'm quite proud of it, though it will probably change a little in the minor details when I draw it in the comic or when I make it in PZ2.
I might make a few more specific parts of the territory in PZ1, however I will not make the full territory in PZ1 (cause that would be painful), instead I will make it in PZ2 once it comes out in October.
Notes on each den:
Leader - Under a large root, called The Center Root where clan meetings are called.
Nursery - The steep inclined entrance, and large root blocks kits from escaping. Warriors bring shed antlers and horns for the kits to play with.
Apprentice - The large ledge is constantly being fought over who gets to sleep on it and the large root wall is used by young apprentices and kits to practice climbing.
Elder - Since there aren't any elders for now, its mainly used as a quarantine den.
Warrior - Original it was going to be the apprentice den and the apprentice den was originally the warriors den, but I thought having the apprentice's fighting over the ledge would be funnier. Its not that interesting besides that.
Healer - Many underground rocks make the shelf platforms, a small root that's poking out from some of the rocks is used to dry out plants. A large patch of moss in the middle is slowly replaced every few weeks.
(PLS appreciate the prey pile, about an hour of this was just looking through blueprints and researching what Burrowclan would actually hunt.)

This is easily one of the CRAZIEST videos I've ever gotten. I was rafting down a river when a Yellow Jacket came, landed on my bright pink waterproof phone pouch, and started drinking from the water droplets that had gathered there.
The most amazing part is how the water droplet magnifies the Hornet's mouth parts, so you get to see them up-close!!!! It was FASCINATING to witness!
