call for artists: 2nd Life Art Show is seeking five (5) artists local to so-called “vancouver” whose creative works utilize recycled // upcycled materials for a group show in late march 2026!!

2nd Life Art Show welcomes applications from visual artists in ALL MEDIUMS! We’d love to see ceramics, textile work, paintings, sculptures, weavings, collage, and more! Due to the size of the gallery exhibition space, performance art will not be selected at this time

each selected artist will receive a $500 honorarium for their participation in the art show!!

summer is here!! time to languish, float, & melt!! here are some memories of nights by the fire at the beach with my loved ones, fleece jackets smelling like smoke and bug spray. smokies and beers and laughter. big starry skies and meteor showers. making wishes. memories of floating, the noise of the busy lake suddenly dampening the second i laid back enough for my ears to fill with water. afternoons in heat wavy pools with foam noodles & lemon floaties. chlorine tangled hair and sleepy car rides home. come visit @translantis to see more 🩵☀️🩷
