one of the saddest parts of the red door To Me is the fact that they fucked up their memories. because burying your head in the sand and Hoping nothing else happens is So Much Better than like. learning to cope with it and learning how to be safest. they could have put the work in to heal and explore safety measures instead of drifting apart because of gaslighting For Safety :(
