Main Blog If I followed you probably followed one of my side blogs. There's no pressure into following this one back. 🌱 There's no rhyme or reason to what you'll find here, other than whatever might interest me or whatever hyper-fixation I develop that doesn't warrant me making a side-blog for. Also humor, trash, and occasional venting. I try to tag but I am bad at it. I will also occasionally reblog aesthetics, inspo, and historical information for an original work that I may or may not choose to elaborate on in the future.

More "refined" interests are politics, history, literary and media analysis, linguistics, story-telling and philosophy. I have been known to have a lot of very strong opinions that scare people, but I genuinely try to be nice.

I've been known to make fanart, edits, or write for fandoms but I'm rarely motivated to do that on a more regular basis. IRL also cosplay and have help organize/run/participate in fanpanels at conventions.

I need to do chores so I get them out of the way and I feel accomplished and then and only then will I give myself permission to relax... my super-boss subtlety asked me a few days ago, if i was potentially interested in a promotion...

and I said i would think it over and today I told her that I was.... I know a few people want the position so I wont be sad if i dont get it, but I feel like if I dont get it this time, I might get it next time. It would definitely be a promotion this time though because she specifically said i didnt need to apply for it. I guess I am doing a little better than I thought I was! C: Which is great considering I have only been at this for a few weeks lmfao... I am very busy now, though. :""""""""") Which is the only sad part.

I love this and found the tutorial. So, I thought I'd share it. I don't have a fireplace, but I was thinking of making one or wrapping it around something else, like my British phone booth, bed, etc.

DIY FIREPLACE KRAKEN 

Materials: -$1.00 pool noodles -Duct tape -9-gauge wire - @stretch.tite Premium Plastic Food Wrap…that’s right…it’s not just for food storage! The devil is in the details and this stuff was the star of the show for making these tentacles look as realistic as possible. Definitely a must to get that shiny, wrinkly octopus skin texture and hide the sloppy tape work. One box did the whole project and I still have plenty leftover for future projects.

-Obviously not a shot-for-shot remake; there's storyline changes -Link potentially already has the triforce-- This means Zelda and Ganondorf already have theirs, too. Why? Who touched it, then? What's going on? How did the doors of time open? Who opened it? -Link sleeps in the branches of the Deku tree instead of in a house among the other kokiri, it's shown if you look closely at his bed and they show it in the tapestry... The Deku tree literally adopted him, this time and seems to be a more direct father figure. Does this mean Link is going to witness first-hand what happens to the tree/him being attacked by the Gohma? Where is Navi hiding, this time if she's not with the Great Deku tree this time? Meh fuck everyone's negativity I am really excited for this. It's a game that deals very much with time-travel, there's a time paradox IN THE OG GAME For christ's sake... it opens a door for ALL SORTS of different timelines and paradoxes and opportunities to make this a really good 'retelling/alternative ocarina of time' and I'm really interested to see what happened.

A REALLY IMPORTANT LIST OF DEMANDS: - The Owl dialogue must be unskippable, and even slower the second time you accidentally click 'yes' when he asks Link if he wants to hear what he said, again. -Most Zelda fans agree that Navi's voice should be a little more high pitched than before, and she needs a lot more unskippable moments in the beginning of a game... such as if you stand in front of a door and push A, it will open. -King Zora must take even more time to scoot over, and it can not be skippable -Donkey Kong should make an appearance, not just a cameo or a sidequest. -And we CAN NOT OVERLOOK the "Oh Well" NPC in "Impa's house", okay. He really, needs to be there and it needs to be even more obvious he and the "Cucco Lady" are likely together, and living in Impa's house. This is critical story telling and foreshadows so much backstory about Kakariko village.

I had a pretty good first day tbh looking back I think there might have been a few things I could have done better, but I will only improve with practice and I think that's known. I got a lot of the staples done and that's what matters. And I wont forget it it was very memorable!
