Life update

Holy cannolis work has been bananas! And I have had zero time to work on anything. I haven't even touched any social media in last couple weeks. Though that's not necessarily a bad thing. Update over

A little snippet of my WIP

The ride back to the Normandy was in panic. Hands were frantically moving and minds were racing.

"Here, Sheppard. I have pulled up a file of basic life support and first aide on the Turian..." Shepard cuts Lawson off by nearly smacking the data pad out of her hand as she stood abruptly to turn and face her.

Shepard always looked intimidating. It was her own version of resting "bitch face". Instead it was more like resting "fucking try me" stance. But in this moment she just looked scary.

"A fucking transport shuttle's supply of medi gel and bandages isn't going to fix a god damned rocket to face!"

Her words were loud and angry. The shuttle fell silent as Miranda chose not to respond. All anyone could here were the sounds of Garrus struggling to breath. She knew Shepard was right. It was a miracle he was still alive, though barely.

Shepard sat back down, continuing to hold pressure on the Turian's wounds. It wasn't anger that had laced her words, but fear. Shepard was drowning in the emotion. She was quiet but her eyes screamed and her heart ached. She was terrified. In her own mind she cried out to the universe in prayer as silent tears fell down her face. Please don't take him away again. Please...

Question!

How would you feel if someone narrated your fanfics, provided they gave author credit and linked to them?

Kinda similar to how youtubers like r/slash and the like narrate reddit content.

It's an idea I've been teasing myself with for a while. But I don't know how it would be recieved by the author.

A drinking contest

between James, sweet baby Grunt, Garrus, and Liara. Sweet baby Grunt turns out to be the lightest of light weights and is just completely passed out, mumbling sweet nothings to himself. Liara, bless her, is holding on by a thread all while doing her BEST Shepard impressions.... "I SHOULD go" Sweet baby Grunt is overhearing Liar's impressions and you hear him mummble "Mamma?" Garrus drunkenly makes a comment about Shepard's hips and her rubbing under his fringe. James is starting to think there may be something going on between Garrus and the commander and starts to try to interrogate him but keeps loosing it at Liara's impressions. She trys to dance like Shepard.

Person B: “I don’t hate you, I just…. I don’t know how to talk to you.”

Heated argument between Shepard and Joker

Just a prompt I'm working on. Here's a short summary of a one shot that may or may not evolve into more. During the events of Mass Effect 2 after recruiting Archangel from Omega. Shepard is in the cockpit with Joker just completely ripping into him. She doesn't know how to process her feelings and is misdirecting anger at joker. Shepard is claiming Joker told her that Garrus was dead and now she finds out he's been Archangel. Meanwhile Garrus is in medical and they don't know if he will make it. Shepard is upset, relieved, scared, angry, ect. Joker lashes back. He and everyone else, Garrus included, all mourned her death, attended her funeral. And he blames himself for her death. He watched her die. It was his fault. Joker lets his cocky facade drop and throws everything he's been holding in this whole time out.

Panic. Stay calm! Stay calm! Fuck, I have to stay calm! Heart rate rises. Chest hurts. I can’t breath! Pounding. Hands clawing. Armour growing tight. Ga-

Shepard’s eyes finally popped open. She was breathing heavy, her muscles clenched and her body was sprinkled in tiny beads of sweat. Seeing where she was, on the slightly less than hard mattress pad she called her bed, she relaxed and let herself absorb into the room around her. She took a deep, confirming breath. However the sound of it almost startled her in the quiet space of her bunk.

It was a dream. Just another one of those damned dreams.
