Frankly I think a lot of Tumblr users think there is no overlap between trans women and gay men like there is between trans men and lesbians 1. because RuPaul did a great job intentionally convincing at least two generations of baby queers that gay men and trans women don't share culture because he's a transmisogynist piece of shit who intentionally kept trans women off Drag Race for years - shattering the perception of our community overlap in the eyes of the mainstream, 1.5. and that culture he cultivated in the mainstream made you afraid of drag as an art so you're uncurious about it, and 2. you're afraid of learning about balls because they're not sanitized white queer culture.
Complete lack of awareness at acknowledging how gay men (not just Rupaul) kept their spaces separate from us and intentionally excluded us for being women, even at a scene trans women pioneered. This made trans women afraid of Drag because it has been normalized as a gay male show and trans women did it secretly while misgendering themselves.
Trans women do not want to be included WITH gay men. Gay men don't want to include us either, BECAUSE WE ARE DIFFERENT. even if we had to share a culture due to cishet society pushing us to same spaces. Some of us want to do drag but we want to be able to do it while being openly trans and WOMAN. We hate to be the "overlap".
Are you even aware of the number of extremely well accomplished, well loved trans women in drag who are loved very explicitly for being openly trans and women, who have been openly challenging the transmisogyny within drag communities for years? And also just how many of those trans women happen to be trans WoC?
“Terf is a slur used to silence us” dang bitch I wish it worked shut the fuck up
The other day my wife told me about this influencer who said she needed to go on ozempic so she could go from 130 lbs down to 115 and I really cannot stress the degree to which we have so COMPLETELY lost the plot with this glp1 shit. Like not only are people are going on this shit for purely cosmetic purposes, the cosmetic purposes are delusional. This is the kind of mindset that gives people eating disorders but now because you can get a prescription instead of having to starve yourself or enduce vomiting a big swath of the general public seems eager to go along with it. Body Positivity did not go fucking far enough because I am being so real when I say that fatphobia is more of a public health crisis than obesity has ever been
People making a choice feminism argument for Ariana Grande looking skeletal have me feeling like this
Brevity is the soul of wit & this was so damn creative
[ID: a woman stands in front of a hell landscape cgi. she's talking to someone out of view; "... Not supposed to be here, I'm Hindu, I'm supposed to be reincarnated, I told you this bef-"
She's cut off my a section of Lil Nas X's song Montero, specifically the line "... Me in the the mornin', i'll be on...". As the line plays, she looks to the side down, as if something nearby is falling. The music fades in, gets louder, and fades back out. She pauses after it fades all the way out.
"Who the fuck was that??" End ID]
“I told you this before” implying she has died and gone to Hell more than once, either in this life or a past
everytime she dies she has to go through this whole long process of paperwork and bribery to get reincarnated
there are days where NO ❌️ video games are played and there are days where video games are played for 10 or maybe 14 hours straight
May I present to you Wheel Running In the Wild, a published research paper that delights me to no end:
This paper intended to test whether would mice would run on a wheel if they found one, to try and determine if this was a natural behavior or a stress response in captivity. They put a wheel in a protected little box with a camera that took pictures any time the wheel turned, and tallied up how often it was used by what.
Mice were, happily, the most common users of the wheel, and their patterns of use indicated they were doing so voluntarily once they figured it out.
But the second most common users.
Those were slugs.
More celebrities need to say stuff like this
112 members of a family were buried today, after spending 1,000 days under the rubble. 40 children, 38 women, 7 with disabilities.
So it turns out that Flock cameras have a button on the back.
And if you press it down long enough you can just connect to it like an access point. There’s also NO 2FA on signing in to the network.
There’s better protection for your Steam account than a network tracking millions of people.
Flock Safety cameras had no passwords, allowed root access in 30 seconds, and shared data with federal agencies — across 100,000 US deployme

Israel is funding a $46.5 million campaign, led by former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale, to influence how AI chatbots discuss Israel by publishing hundreds of pro-Israel articles across a network of websites designed largely for AI systems, not human readers, according to Drop Site News.
The campaign explicitly targets “GPT conversations,” with AI tools already citing these sites, including Perplexity, Copilot, Gemini, and sometimes ChatGPT and Claude, in responses about Gaza and U.S.-Israel relations.
