Normally I am not a guy that vents a lot online. I send my rants to friends in the middle of the night, so this is gonna be a word salad most likely. Idk, deal with it or not.
Lately I have seen some posts and comments in passing (mostly off this site, so put the pitchfork down, not accusing anyone) that I cannot read as anything but victim blaming with glitter on top. Probably not intentional? But I don't care really, it still carries that vibe and it feels gross.
Let me be clear if anyone needs to hear it for one reason or another:
You did not cause your own abuse.
You did not manifest your assault.
You did not attract your shitty parents, your bullying or your warzone.
And no, you did not deserve any of that. Don't let anyone dress cruelty up as spirituality and convince you otherwise.
A child didn't manifest their parents hitting it by having "low vibrations and thoughts".
Refugees did not manifest bombs.
Cancer patients did not manifest their illness. Just like people with chronic illness and pain didn't manifest it.
If someone says "I want to permashift or shift in general because I was abused my whole life and just want to be happy" and your response is "well, you manifested it :)" or "well, you chose this life :)" with some fuckass heart smiley behind it, you sound exactly like the people who ask "what were you wearing?". You just changed it to "well, what were your vibrations and thoughts?"
Yes, inner state affects perception. No, that does not mean your trauma is your fault.
You are responsible for how you react to things. And even when you react badly, you still deserve grace.
I believe in shifting, because I have shifted.
I believe your intention matters.
I do not believe a child manifested their own abuse.
I do not believe refugees manifested war.
And if you feel privileged enough to walk around telling traumatized people they asked for it?
Maybe keep that shit to yourself and actually look at what you are saying. Even if you believe they manifested it, it costs you nothing to shut up or simply say "I am sorry this happened".

Leyna Valentine was born in Berlin on October 17th, 1994. She lived with her Grandmother and older brother and sister until they moved to England when she was 10. From a very young age she loved singing and creating stories.
Dance lessons from 5, singing lessons from 11, she was always trying to be the best in anything she can do. After school, she studied at Mountview and grew many good and bad experiences that only fuelled her determination to do what she loves.
After graduating, she moved to London permanently, auditioning for anything she could until finally she got the highly anticipated call. She would be ensemble and the understudy for Christine in The Phantom of the Opera.

Leyna had a good feeling about this audition. After waiting in the line for a while, and getting to know the other girls there, Saskia approached her. Leyna was immediately drawn to her beautiful eyes and sweet smile and it seemed that Saskia was also drawn to Leyna. When Saskia spoke to her, it was almost as if Leyna had forgotten how to hold a basic conversation. She stuttered and fumbled on almost every word she said. When she went into the audition, all she could think about was her awkward interaction with Saskia. This heavily impacted her audition, and it didn’t go very well.
Their relationship was quite private and they dated for around 1 year. Things didn’t end badly, it was a mutual splitting. They are still best friends to this day.
Saskia would go onto making music and becoming a famous pop star.

Ethan Harper. “childhood friends”
Leyna knew Ethan from drama school. They were close friends but hadn’t connected in a while. After they did, they both realised how much they liked each other. Leyna’s name was suddenly everywhere after her big break and she wasn’t too sure on publicly revealing a new relationship yet, so she kept Ethan a secret for a little while. He didn’t like this, he thought that if people knew about him and Leyna then it would be a good opportunity for him to break into the industry as well. And he was right. After it was revealed that they were dating, Ethan got many job offers which he happily accepted.
They dated for 3 years. Their breakup was a big deal. Leyna was predicted to win an Oscar that year for La La Land and when paparazzi pictures and footage of her and Ethan arguing on a street came out, it wasn’t a good look. A few weeks after she won the Oscar, she wrote a statement explaining the situation. Ethan had cheated on her.
Ethan still went on to work on big projects and movies, but they no longer speak.

Nowadays, Leyna is single. But there has been a lot of suspicion of her closeness with her co-star Josh O’Connor. They have been spotted spending a lot of time together, but nothing has been confirmed or denied by either of them yet…

I genuinely can’t believe that shifters or just spiritual people in general use the word “unrealistic” because absolutely nothing is unrealistic we’ve been lied to all our lives there is absolutely no limit to anything and everything that’s “fiction” or “fantasy” is very real if not here then in another reality so if you want everything to be perfect in your dr then you can.
college! from ages 17 - 24. wasn’t very active, most used the platform to text and watch reels. made a good few stories, though. very little friends or people on this

after valentina hired me. didn’t really post much either, I didn’t have many people to post to either. some friends, some family, but that was about it. it’s okay though!
This is where things get interesting!! After the events of thunderbolts, a few months after, actually! My account blew up after the whole, publicity fiasco after the events of thunderbolts. I’ve posted a lot of pictures of the team that pop up in my camera roll, I’ve ended up becoming a micro celebrity. I’m definitely not as popular as someone like Yelena or Bucky, but I’ve still got a following (mainly from posting them, not my own fame.)

theo jamie watson. 15 year old child of the recently deceased harriet watson, sent to live with his uncle and his flatmate sherlock holmes. theo is a weird kid. he prefers books over people, is obsessed with true crime stories, has a weirdly sharp memory and loves getting into fights. sometimes his mind is too loud for him, and he shuts off for days on end. his mother never understood him, and he doubts anyone ever will. that is, until he actually meets his uncle and his best friend. despite the odd group they make - a sociopathic consulting detective, an ex-military doctor addicted to danger and a sharp witted, troubled teen with a habit of attracting trouble - 221B baker street slowly starts to feel like home. being able to help solve crimes with his new guardians, being allowed to (even encouraged) to experiment with severed body parts and finding people who finally get him - who are like him - well. that's just a bonus.
shadow manipulation — this power grants the user the ability to work with shadows in any way possible. this can be creating things like shadow creatures that will command your bidding, though cannot exceed the consciousness of an animal. it also be walking through shadows and walking along a different stream of dimension. it grants the user the ability to see in the dark as well. it also can mean teleportation through shadows, in a similar sense to kurt wagners teleportation ability.
gravity manipulation — self explanatory; allowing them to manipulate and make gravitons, as well as alter the gravity of anything they touch.
intelligence — another self explanatory one. this mutation upped his intelligence to something much higher than the average human intelligence.
BACKSTORY
travis hawthorne was born into a rocky world, being a mutant child born to two human parents. his parents had a lot of issues and his home life was complicated. he had always had an interest in science and the biological life around him. this was also helped by the fact he was a child prodigy due to his mutations.
all of this cumulated when studied for sciences since he was around 15. he had a special interest in it. he completed high-school on and celebrated path and ended up at MIT. he got his degrees when he was 21-24, three, actually, in biology, physics and archeology, with a minor in geology.
he was then recruited for a project by Valentina a few years later at 23. It was scientific research. but then when his x-gene was activated on one of her jobs, she used this as leverage over him and had him start working as a cleanup for her dirty work, such as silencing others, cleaning up areas and becoming somewhat of a hitman.
he did this for a few years, before she had him do this work for the sentry project. he didn’t know it at the time until he ended up getting a job to go after another person. It was john walker, a man who was apparently the old captain america. he went after him reluctantly before the whole thunderbolts events happened.
FUN FACTS
he wrote an academic paper for his thesis on the effect of the blip on ecosystems in america. he has continued this study throughout his career, even now.
he is apart of a book club with zemo and bob, they meet up in the towers living room every tuesday. they’re the three people who don’t go out on missions as much, so it’s only natural.
he and steve’s girlfriend (and his best friend) get brunch every saturday to talk about whatever.
(yes, I’m aware jake gyllenhaal has already worked in the mcu, I donnttt carrreeee)

subject name; march helason. origin; forged from souls in hel by hela odinsdottir. age; unknown, physically late 20s. powers; weapon summoning, restorative healing powers, superhuman abilities. threat level; unknown. status; unknown.
march helason wasn’t born—he was created, forged from the souls of hel with one purpose: to be a weapon.
hela needed a warlord. someone who could get their claws into asgard before she made her return to take the throne. someone who wasn’t trapped in hel, restrained by odin’s life force. thus came march, not exactly a god but not exactly human either.
gifted with similar powers to his mother creator, combat skills came naturally to march. it didn’t take long for him to be able to masterfully wield a sword, or a dagger, or even a spear. while his weapon summoning power and combat skills were honed, his healing powers were neglected to a point where he wasn’t even sure he could use them anymore. “weapons inflict pain, not stop pain,” hela had told him.
eventually, he was sent to asgard to prepare for hela’s arrival. over time, he grew to love the people of asgard. he couldn’t hurt them. when odin passed and hela finally came, march betrayed her, fighting alongside the asgardians.
when the dust settled and asgard was gone, thor found march on the ship to earth. march explained everything, to which thor simply called himself march’s “uncle thor.”
when thanos attacked, march went with valkyrie to safety. in the end, he was snapped out of existence. helping valkyrie and the asgardians one moment, gone the next.
5 years later, when march returned, things were different. for starters, he wasn’t in the place he was when he disappeared. next, he couldn’t remember much except his first name and his powers. after finding somewhere to settle, he did research to figure out what happened. eventually, he had a goal: find captain america.
timeline ☆
first shift happens just a few months before tfatws arc. i stick with bucky and sam throughout everything until the thunderbolts arc, where i eventually join the new avengers. over the span of these years, bucky and sam slowly help me regain my memories and learn how to use my healing powers.
