asher looked at the small brunette and he smiled when she began; raising an eyebrow. his fingers curling around hers and threw the boys behind him a toothy smile until it dropped and he crossed his arms. “they were trying to provoke me, i’m trying to be good.”

As soon as the woman was pulled off her, the hybrid used her vampire speed to stand up, ignoring the pain caused by the vervain. Placing a hand on her cousin shoulder, Raven started to speak. “Asher…” Her voice was strangely calm considering what she had just been through. “She’s not worth it.” If she could prevent someone from killing, then she would. With a small wave of her hand, the woman fell unconscious, but not dead. “Let’s go.”

when her body fell limp, asher snapped out of it and turned towards his cousin. his lips pursed he nodded. "yeah lets go." he placed his hand on her back to lead her away, stealing one last glance at the unconscious woman behind them.
