Ok so attempting to learn guilty gear strive this year so far made me realise a few things.
Maintaining combos isn't a insurmountable task. It is doable, once you figure out the right flow and feel for your character.
Same for circle inputs. With time, accuracy isn't needed, just the general direction. The time for inputs is more than you think.
People will fall for the dumbest moves imaginable, but you are also people.
You can dive footfirst into a Potemkin buster, and you have no one else to blame but yourself as half your healthbar goes.
Never underestimate the utility of a standard jab.
