â HAPPY 413 - HOMESTUCKâS 10TH ANNIVERSARY â
Man itâs 10 years already and iâve only been to this fandom for 2 years, but it was a great experience! Iâve made a lot of new friends, iâve been able to express my love for something i love much more easily, and Homestuck has guided me through the worst period of my life
So to my friends and everyone, have a happy 413

if you cant carry it back out, dont carry it in! leave no trace! respect the outdoors! pick up trash you see on the ground!
if youâre walking your dog, you should pick up any dog waste you see on the ground too if you have bags to do so! it can spread parasites and diseases to wild animals, and high phosphorous carnivore feces in nature are few and far between. the abundance of dog waste in recent years is nothing like what most native plants are adapted to and is making it even harder for them to compete against native plants. it can also spread disease into the water table.
pick up after your dog please!

ITS NOT BLURRY. SOCIAL MEDIA AND NEWS PAPERS ZOOMED THAT SHIT IN THEMSELVES.
âMost news outlets are only showing the blurry zoomed in picture of the black hole so Iâm posting the entire zoomed-out image of the black hole and everything it is consuming. The tiny black spec in this image is 6.5 billion times the size of our sun. This thing is HUGE.â Dan Farr
Since I saw someone asking why it says Chandra X-Ray: Chandra is the name of the NASA observatory that took the images. Article!

Starter Breed
Iâve always gotten a lot of questions about my dogs in regards to their âdifficulty levelâ. I also see a lot of smack talk about how naive people must be to get âthis breedâ as their âstarter dogâ.
Like, donât get me wrong. I know a lot of people see some cute fluffy dog and think, âI want one of thoseâ and do zero research regards to their temperament, their drive, their challenges, and their needs. Trust me, I get it. I hate seeing people get angry that their shepherd herds everything that moves, or pissed off that their working dog destroys everything in sight because a one hour walk a day isnât enough stimulation for him.
But, I donât understand this mentality that so many people seem to have, that dog breeds are lined up on a âdifficulty skalaâ, like a golden retriever is some perfect âstarter dogâ for a level 1 dog handler, and you must achieve level 5 dog handler status before attempting to own a GSD, or husky.
How difficult a dog is for you as a first time dog owner is completely relative to who you are as a person, and your individual lifestyle. There is no one-breed-fits-all dog that is a perfect âstarter breedâ to ease you into it, before you can try a more âchallengingâ dog and then work your way up to the âultimate bossâ dog (which, by the way, if there was one, it would be a toss up between a border collie and a dutch x mal cross).
Iâve had shepherd dogs virtually all my life, and it did jack all to prepare me for how to deal with labradors. Iâve been around dogs, worked with dogs, of all kinds of breeds, but Iâd be absolutely bananas to bring home a jack russell terrier right now, and while I could âhandleâ a Labrador, it wouldnât bring me the same kind of joy.
It just makes me sad when people ask me if I think they can âhandleâ a samoyed as their first dog, like thereâs some kind of starter breed they have to go through first before they are allowed to bring a samoyed into their home.
I just want to say once and for all, there is no perfect starter dog, and thereâs no list of dogs you have to go through before you level up enough to get the dog you âreallyâ want. It doesnât matter how âdifficultâ the dog is. What matters is why you want this specific dog.
Does this dog fit your lifestyle? Do you have the time to care for his specific needs? Are you willing to seek assistance from a trainer? Are you able to admit that you donât have all the answers and do your best to learn and grow?
Do you want this breed because you think theyâll make a great companion on your journey together, or because you saw one once and it licked your hand and it was magical and itâs all you can think about now?
Right now, at this point and time in your life, can you provide the enrichment this breed needs? Iâve owned many shepherds, but I knew a shepherd would not be happy with where I live now, and the time I have available. I know how to socialize a shepherd, I know how to confront their potential reactivity. But I also know that now is not the time to build that kind of partnership. And it has nothing to do with whether itâs too difficult because itâs my first dog ever and the breed might overwhelm meâitâs because in spite of my many years of experience with this breed, our lifestyles would not jive well.
It doesnât matter which breed of dog is the first puppy you bring home. It matters that you are dedicated to researching, learning, training, and going the distance on your journey together.
Everyone has a starter breed. But not everyone has the same one.
Harley Quinn shouldnât be suave and sexy and seductive. She should be a screechy loud-mouthed bisexual disaster goblin who likes stupid puns and is both a genius and an absolute dumbass.

i still think an underappreciated mutual thing is when you both end up reblogging the same post from each other a couple of times because you forgot the post existed.
Hey just a quick reminder
Another quick reminder since i start seeing people saying âUwU both are goodâ in the tags and reblogs.
Reminder : it doesnât matter how we portray them, they are dead so like let ppl have fun
beat your depression
beat it with a fucking broom beat it into the fucking ground die die die
the kibble thing is fake it takes like three seconds of googling to disprove it
About 5 minutes of googling said that you shouldnât store animal food loose in plastic containers. Reading up on it the consensus is that it is safe to store the food in the container inside itâs original bag. I think the point was that thereâs a reason plastics tend to be manufactured as items to be disposed when it comes to food safety. Itâs similar to how tupperware containers arenât really good for long term storage either.
the vegan who made the weird aggressive comment has a post on their blog defending feeding cats a vegan diet so u KNOW its performative and they don't actually care that much about animal abuse
Lmao WHATÂ
some people are so dense jfc like you canât just take human standards and apply them to other animals like that, itâs stupid
Rolling down the runway, weâve reached the speed necessary for LIFT-OFF!
Like the bottom line is no 18 year olds and 19 year olds are exactally adults and especially girls are forced to grow up and yeah we have to talk about that BUT you CANâT be saying âIâm not a real adultâ to minors.Â
You still have power and youâre still an adult and minors are easily groomed or end up thinking relationships with 18+ people are ok because âtheyâre not emotionally an adultâ like no shut the fuck up. Both discussions can happen at once and also keep kids safe or Iâll kill you.
âKeep kids safe or Iâll kill youâ sums it up really well I think
