the backrooms would be better if it had some elements from benjamin button and beau is afraid and with the majority spent on clark obsessively going into the backrooms by himself without telling anyone. like when he was at the dinner table talking about how he "never wanted to leave" it could be way more impactful if we actually slowly went crazy with him. and the story structure could mirror the stages of the everywhere at the end of time format.

at first I thought the little green hands were elongated cam limbs but after my 5th read I looked closer and saw it was a separate(?) entity of sorts Plenty to unpack though Ive got no clue where to start with that bit

when i usually play rpg dialogue tree games i dont care at all about the dialogue and never actually read whats said. this is the first game ive actually felt really immersed in. i think because the dialogue IS the game. like im not just running around spamming to get through everything just for the action im intentionally pressing every question i can unless its too embarrassing. I kind of hate asking what something is but sometimes you unlock info you wouldnt have gotten to know because people will ignore how odd it is and graciously tell you. kim honestly blew me away with how fr kind hearted he was with his answers to the main guy being completely delirious and asking crazy shit

when I was like 14 I used to reblog these posts on here that were like "YOUR 20S ARE NOT AN IMAGINARY RACE YOURE DOING JUST FINE!!" just to be positive towards my older mutuals even though i didn't really get what they were about and I'd be in the tags like "#so true!! #everyone does things at their own pace!!" and now im 24 I'm thinking back to it and it's like Oh of course the imaginary race.
