At the end of The Body, Gordie says that the treehouse kind of drifted to another group of kids. But now all I can think about is Gordie coming back to Castle Rock and just. Destroying it once Chris dies

WOW ok, that hurts to think about. 

Gordie & Chris are like….the purest King ship. I don’t think anyone would try and ship either of them w/ someone else. It’s impossible. ALL King fans agree that the two of them are soulmates (be it, friendship or romantic)

Chris just loves Gordie for all that he is & all that he can do in life. He has an unshakable belief in his best friend. Gordie loves & admires Chris’s good soul and just wants his best friend to recognize that for himself. 

They go together so naturally. They understand each other like nobody else. And they accept each other for who they are and never stop trying to take care of each other through tough times.

Imagining how hard it must have been for Gordie to lose not only somebody he loved but somebody who loved him……….
