Look I know some of you don’t like Lana del Rey but her making a song and calling out Ethel cain for being a sexist creepy skinwalker is very brave. She’s receiving a lot of backlash as far as I can tell which falls into two categories. The first is delusional Taylor swift fans accusing her of trying to take attention away from Taylor (obviously inconsequential) and the second is accusing her of being transphobic.
All I’m saying is that the evidence is that Ethel cain edits their own Wikipedia page to remove comparisons to Lana, has said openly that he ‘pushed her over when he ran past’ (in response to a tweet complimenting him), insulted her ‘Macy’s dress’, constantly insulted her music and persona despite obviously being inspired by it (he listed her as a favourite artist and covered her songs before). I totally believe that what Lana has shared is true (have included the comment below).
There are valid critiques to be made of Lana del Rey, but I admire her for not letting some weirdo freak male who wore a ‘legalise incest’ T-shirt smear her without consequences.

if men like your version of feminism, then it's not actual feminism. there should be no reason why moids should be gaslighting women into agreeing with them. i find it ironic now that the face of feminism is "empowerment" that men suddenly decide they want to fight for us. the empowerment of so many women getting into porn yet men are now thinking "feminism" is a cause to fight for. i'm never falling for that weak shit. i don't trust any man who believes women selling their bodies online is peak feminism and neither should you.

No, tumblr user, I don’t think the hatred of trans women is cemented on the hatred of men. I believe, god forbid, it might be based on the hatred of women.
That’s right, I hate women so much I don’t want men to have access to women’s only spaces, stay out of women’s sports, and harass and bully any woman that disagrees with them. I feel this way because I hate women, certainly.

still thinking about the first time I got banned from instagram. I commented on a post about inclusive language suggesting we call trans women cock owners, ballsack havers and ejaculators similarly like we call women menstruators or birthing bodies. I think my suggestion was fair and kind, truly inclusive.
