WE HAVE GOT TO START LOVING THE PROCESS MORE THAN THE PRODUCT AGAIN
Me, tears streaming down my face, sobbing, as I stare at the stars: itās just so beautiful
The medieval peasant I went back in time to give a bag of Doritos to, concerned: what terrible and powerful sorcerers they must have in your age, to be able to veil the vault of heaven itself from view, as you say

SCP-8735 is the collective designation for a range of augmented reality glasses produced by members of GoI-5869 ("Gamers Against Weed"). Rather than making use of micro-displays or optical projection technology, SCP-8735 instances use perception filters to interfere with the viewer's perspective on media depicting subjects deemed objectionable by the designer(s).
Habitual SCP-8735-2 users might be led to believe that the majority of mundane institutions are corrupt.
Hot on the trail of Gamers Against Weed, a certain Foundation researcher tries looking at things from a different perspective. Put the glasses on; it's time for Nightmare Vision. (Tie-in Tale coming soon!)

we need to normalize kung fu masters saying shit like "our school doesn't use such techniques" and explaining their flaws instead of just calling them evil wrong and foolish because i'm fighting this demonic path guy right now and he's not seeming foolish
nonsense words such as "blorbo" and "skibidi" are outliers and a minuscule minority and thus do not invalidate that statement

Lawyers and family members report that they have been unable to locate the inmates at the infamous Florida prison after they disappeared fro
Hundreds of people detained at the Alligator Alcatraz immigration processing center west of Miami, Florida, appear to have vanished. They have disappeared from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) online database, and their lawyers and families have been unable to locate them, according to immigrant advocacy groups.
āWhen searching for people detained there, the ICE locator now says, āCall the Florida Department of Corrections for details,āā says Luis Sorto of Sanctuary of the South, a network that offers legal services and participated in a lawsuit against the government over restrictions on access to lawyers for detainees at the infamous immigration jail.
All of the plaintiffs who were being held at the center were transferred to another location after a new lawsuit was filed in August challenging Floridaās authority to detain people there, Sorto added. That lawsuit also noted that the detainees did not appear in ICEās tracking system.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which filed the lawsuit, described Alligator Alcatraz as a āblack hole,ā noting that some people were āmissing,ā effectively āoff the radarā of the immigration system, and ātheir lawyers and families often donāt know where they are or how to contact them.ā
#this is what an extermination camp looks like while its operating
Operated by the state of Florida instead of the U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement agency, Alligator Alcatraz can hold as many as 3,000.
Some quotes from the article below:
Key Points:
A state-run immigration detention center, Alligator Alcatraz, has been operating in Big Cypress National Preserve for six months.
The facility is managed by the Florida Division of Emergency Management under emergency powers invoked by Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Multiple lawsuits have been filed concerning environmental impacts, public records access, and detainee rights.
Journalists, lawmakers, and the public have faced significant challenges in obtaining information about the facility's operations and detainees.
A Dec. 4 report from Amnesty International allegesĀ inhumane treatmentĀ of detainees at Alligator Alcatraz, and said some detainees are subject to what they say is "torture."
"When it cannot be accountable to the people, weāve passed out of the democratic framework and weāre in the authoritarian framework, and we canāt have that in this country," Noelle Damico, who is head of social justice nationally for The Workers Circle, a Jewish activist group with about 200,000 members, said in an interview Dec. 31.
Damico coordinates with Betty Osceola, a member of the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida, who lives just a few miles from the entrance to the detainment facility, and who has been part of a 24-hour-a-day community surveillance of Alligator Alcatraz.
Osceola has been fighting for decades to maintain conservation lands and water quality in the historic Everglades. She has become an outspoken critic of the detention center. "The state put it in the middle of preserved Everglades lands ā people in Florida have worked to preserve the Everglades forever ā itās such a dismissal of all of that," Damico said.
Another reason for the facility's remote location, Damico speculates is to put it out of people's minds. "They put it there and then itās out of the way so to speak. Itās an hour and half from the nearest population center. It makes it remote, but we canāt let it become remote in the minds of people whatās going on," she said. "Every single day, this horror continues."

if anyone's been following the case of the 18 people being charged with terrorism charges in Texas for being antifa, they need some monetary help for legal assistance; several of them have taken plea deals but the rest have not, and so need all the help we can give them. the case the state & the feds are making is wild & blatantly trying to bury these people for things that may not even have happened. if you'd like to help out or know more, this is a link to the support committee page:
https://dfwdefendants.wordpress.com/
this is the fundraiser link:
https://www.givesendgo.com/supportdfwprotestors
they're the first group of people who were formally charged with terrorism for being antifascist under Trump, so what happens here is going to have national ramifications no matter what
the feds & the state are deadnaming, misgendering and depersonalizing the two trans women involved in the case as well, and both of them have pleaded not guilty, so they need us to help them get the defense they both deserve
meagan has been moved to federal custody, specifically FMC Fort Worth. *And* they booked her under her deadname, because of course the federal government would do that to her. She still has the state charges, but the federal government has decided to press charges before the state of Texas got around to it.
If y'all want to mail her things, I'd really appreciate it. Use Meagan as her name in the letters but the name below on the envelopes, and it should be fine.

Please, more than ever, she needs support as a trans woman. Getting your name changed by force like this is painful, and she needs all the love we can get her
Some tips that might be helpful to those writing from Black and Pink, which helps facilitate pen pals for LGBTQ+ incarcerated people:
To note specifically, rules vary by prison system and are enforced arbitrarily: "Some prison systems, like Texas, have decided to ban all postcards and greeting cards as a way to prevent drugs⦠Some wonāt accept construction paper, or mailing labels, or glitter. Pennsylvania scans all mail in a facility in Florida and then prints it."
These are Texas' rules. In general, be aware that someone is reading what you write and may be looking for reasons to deny the correspondence.
#meagan was arrested for a crime she did not commit#and is being misgendered by her jailers and state appointed defense attorney despite a name change in 2007

Hey listen everybody the Prairieland case is a real "all hands on deck" type of situation. They're gonna hang these folks out to dry and use that as further precedent for making protesters disappear. It's fucked. Like I can't stress how important it is to get as many eyes on this as possible. Tell everybody and their grandma.

Reading the new checks that might come in due to the Online Safety Act in the UK and this is actually bullshit
[Image Transcript:
And how will I prove my age?
Thereās a number of methods a site or app might use to ask you to confirm your age. They might do this check themselves or use another company to do the check. These methods include:
Facial age estimationĀ ā you show your face via photo or video, and technology analyses it to estimate your age.Ā
Open bankingĀ ā you give permission for the age-check service to securely access information from your bank about whether you are over 18. The age-check service then confirms this with the site or app.
Digital identity services āĀ these include digital identity wallets, which can securely store and share information which proves your age in a digital format.
Credit card age checksĀ ā you provide your credit card details and a payment processor checks if the card is valid.Ā As you must be over 18 to obtain a credit card this shows you are over 18.
Email-based age estimationĀ ā you provide your email address, and technology analyses other online services where it has been used ā such as banking or utility providers - to estimate your age.Ā Ā
Mobile network operator age checksĀ ā you give your permission for an age-check service to confirm whether or not your mobile phone number has age filters applied to it. If there are no restrictions, this confirms you are over 18.Ā
Photo-ID matchingĀ ā this is similar to a check when you show a document. For example, you upload an image of a document that shows your face and age, and an image of yourself at the same time ā these are compared to confirm if the document is yours.

Not only is this such a fucking breach of privacy, but this is going to hurt adults in vulnerable and abusive situations. Some adults donāt have bank accounts or credit cards or even a fucking phone. Iām one of them. I could not give half of this information even if I wanted to. What the fuck is this. Fuck the UK government. This isnāt going to protect kids, this is just going to hurt adults, and I know full well when they say āsites that allow pornographyā theyāre going to be going after sites that have huge amounts of queer content, like tumblr and Ao3. Queer kids are gonna lose their fucking communities because of this shit. Abuse victims are going to lose online support systems because of this.
Iām genuinely fucked off about this, and worried about whether Iām going to lose every single one of my online friends. Anyone in the UK, please email your MP and sign this petition. It needs to reach 100k signatures to pass through Parliament.
Iām only hoping the backlash will be big enough for them to stop implementing these measures.
We want the Government to repeal the Online Safety act.
Anything we Yankees can do to voice our displeasure at this? This absolutely is violating and it's creepy. It absolutely will be used as a test run for implementing something similar here if it doesn't get loud pushback, and even before it does, we all share the same Internet, so it will, in some way, affect us even across the pond.
As far as I know, the best thing non-UK people can do is simply share the petition around, because itās not possible for anyone outside of the UK to sign it (otherwise the petition can be deemed invalid). But definitely keep your eyes on American laws, because itās likely theyāll attempt to implement them there too. The UK itself is basically copying what Australia has been trying to do with their under-16s ban.
If you're in the UK, please sign the petition and start calling and emailng explaining that you don't support fascist laws in your country. Because this is fascism. It's tracking and keeping lists of what people do on the internet so that vaguely written laws can be interpreted to punish people for not being the right sort of people.
If you're not in the UK, please reblog and share anywhere you can.
