people i’d like to get to know better.
one / ( alias / name ) : drew ! it’s short for andrew, but drew came first, so i prefer it.
two / ( birthday ) : october 22nd.
three / ( zodiac sign ) : libra ...
four / ( height ) : i'm stuck at five feet. help
five / ( hobbies ) : really just writing ... i like to draw too, but i’m not good at it or anything. so. just writing.
six / ( favorite color ) : monochromatic colors ( black, gray, white. )
seven / ( favorite books ) : i hate this question cuz there are so many good books ... but some favorites are shutter island, the yellow wallpaper, & animal farm ( or 1984. )
eight / ( last song listened to ) : i think it was wake me up when september ends ? that was last night so i could be wrong ...
nine / ( last film or show watched ) : i started solar opposites yesterday. bad taste, i know. but. ):
ten / ( inspiration for muse ) : komaeda is definitely my favorite danganronpa character, but i almost pride myself on the fact that i don’t reduce them down to one trait or try to justify the things they did. i might project on them a little too much sometimes, but all my muses fall victim to that. honestly, i just ... wanted to write them as a challenge for myself ? i think they’re an extremely difficult muse to write ( not that i feel like my portrayal is perfect, but i do my best ) because of how complex they are. it may seem like they’re simple because of their straightforward views / values, but in reality, they’re more like a walking contradiction ... & yet, at the same time, they aren’t like that at all. i can’t explain it well, but that’s where i see myself in them. feeling like you know everything & nothing all at once. being convinced you’re inferior to everyone, but still categorizing others with black & white values & acting like you’re better to the ones who are “ bad. ” they started out as a coping muse, & although i think that’s died down a bit now that i’m in a better place, they’re still very near & dear to me ... that’s why i’m still here writing them, after all.
eleven / ( story behind url ) : tsuiteru has two meanings. the more common meaning is kind of lackluster ( “ to be attached, to have, to be in a state, ” ) but its second meaning is “ to be lucky, to be in luck. ” something about that just vibes with komaeda ... they feel like they’re nothing, but they’re still the ultimate lucky student, & they know how to manipulate that luck to their advantage. i dunno, but it just ... fits.
