Not sure if I ever posted this piece here, so here goes! This piece is titled “Screaming In The Face of Transition,” and it’s a very personal painting. I made it after a tough breakup right before I left for college.

It felt like my entire life was falling to pieces around me. Nowadays, I can’t help thinking about the quote “the cost of your new life is your old one” when I look back on this time. I had to rid myself of past experiences in order to make room for the new ones to come in.

I hope this reaches someone who is also struggling to let go of dead weight, and I hope that person can feel seen by this work I created.
