TLWR: Block and filter "World Cup 2026" now because I'm going to be peak annoying about it for the next 39 days.

I don't know why people follow me but it's probably because I support gay wrongs in Asian QLs and I ramble about colors, but every year for a few weeks, I turn into a beast who yells about fútbol (also known as soccer if you live in like six countries). Sometimes, the tournament could be the Gold Cup or Copa América depending on the year, but this year, it's the World Cup, which is the most-watched program in the world, and the first game is tomorrow.

There will be 104 games played in 39 days, and I intend to watch all of them. As always, I'm rooting for México, but I'm also cheering for Colombia because nobody's World Cup song will ever be better than Shakira's. In reality, I'm cheering for every Latino except Uruguay unless they are playing a European team; then, I'm also cheering for Uruguay. Basically, I'm fine with anyone winning as long as it's not a European team, but if it comes down to a Western European team versus an Eastern one, I'm clearly rooting for the Eastern one because this isn't just a game; it's life.
