🚨 SCAM WARNING (Tumblr users please read) 🚨

I was just contacted by someone claiming they accidentally reported my account and needed my help to “fix” it.

They sent me screenshots of a fake email saying my account was at risk of being deleted and told me to contact a “Tumblr support agent” directly.

This is a SCAM.

⚠️ Red flags:

Mentions of account deletion / IP bans / urgent deadlines (like “12 hours”)

Being told to contact a random “support staff” account

Screenshots of emails instead of actual emails sent to YOU

Someone asking YOU to help fix a report they made

Tumblr will NEVER:

Ask you to contact support through another user

Assign you a random “agent” to message

Handle reports through DMs

If your account was actually at risk, you would get an email directly from Tumblr or a notification on your account.

Please don’t click any links, don’t message the “support” account, and don’t give out any information.

PLEASE SHARE IT! Also, I want to tell you that sometimes they also sometimes may write to you in DM from hacked account, pretending to be a person that they allegedly mass reported you and you should contact this scam account or you may face ACTUAL CRIME CHARGES

It happened to me and I almost followed their instructions. GOOD FOR ME I'M TOO BAD AT TECH which saved my mail and accounts

Explanation:

They are shooting the scene in Desolation of Smaug where Kili and Tauriel are having their first real conversation in the dungeons.

In the scene, they talk about a party happening upstairs (something about the stars, I can’t remember). Legolas is supposed to be seen staring at the two of them in jealousy ‘cause he likes Tauriel.

Orlando, however, chose to make this glorious blooper happen by wearing a party hat and calling them sluts.
