Here in this blog is where I talk about whatever I might be playing, watching, or reading lately. Sometimes that might be a full review, sometimes it's a random thought, and sometimes it just might be why I think something works or doesn't work.

This page is just casual and relaxed vibes. I type exactly the same way as I think or talk. Nothing is really scripted or thought out too much. It's just how I feel about the stuff I'm into.

I can't tell you how excited I am for The Transformers Movie!

They've released the entire new soundtrack or the "Reformatted Edition" of the original movie soundtrack. Most of them are great, a few not so much, but this new version of Hunger is amazing!

I am going to be obnoxious this next month and a half. I am so excited to be able to see this movie in theatres! I even bought me a new Transformers shirt, it should be here on Wednesday!

Tumblr sucks, I'm making my own website.

So this has been something I've thought about for a long time now. Today I learned that the mobile version of my blog is completely borked. Like, if you go to turnthescreen.com on mobile it is completely messed up. Wrong colors for everything, page buttons are all wrong, the background and text are the same color. The worse part of it all is I can't fix it. I've tried and from everything I've looked up it seems like there's no fixing it. Because I use a custom CSS and HTML there's nothing I can do about it. Tumblr just decided that my blog is not worth it on mobile.

But as I said I've been debating on making my own actual website to do this exact same stuff. I don't make these posts for the views, or comments, or the shares, I do it because I enjoy doing it. I enjoy talking about different media be that movies, video games, comics, books, music, etc. Having my very own website that I can control the look of would be great. I can make my own tabs for archiving my media lists. I can make it look a lot nicer than what I can do on Tumblr as well.

And I already have my own domain name. So I might as well do something with it other than having it locked to a Tumblr blog, right? So with that being said I am officially starting to build my own website. I can't tell you when it will be done, but I do hope very soon!

A trailer for The Transformers: The Movie has been released.

This movie re-releases in theatres in September and I am so excited to be able to see it on the big screen! I will be there day one!

Lanterns finally looks interesting.

So they released the official trailer to the Lanterns series and after all the teasers we've gotten the show finally looks interesting. I was never interested when watching the trailers, I thought the show looked kind of boring and honestly just kind of generic. But now this full trailer actually made it look interesting. Even if this trailer wasn't good I was still going to give it a shot because I love John Stewart and I've waited for so long to see him in live action.

The Transformers '99 episode one released!

And it's freaking great! I'll be honest and say going I wasn't sure what I was expecting since it was a lot budget fan animation, but wow this is great. I love the designs of Wheeljack and Prowl especially. I like the idea that Optimus isn't actually Optimus yet and that the other Autobots have been on Earth longer than he has. I'm excited to see other character like Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave (although I feel like we might have already gotten a glimpse of him).

The final trailer for Coyote vs. ACME has been released!

Please please PLEASE go watch this movie! So many people, including myself fought for this movie to be saved! Now that it is finally being released we all need to show that we really meant it! The movie looks genuinely good so we need to show Warner, Zaslav, and all those corporate losers that they need to stop scrapping fully finished movies that people worked so hard on that people want to see!

The new Resident Evil movie looks great!

I know this movie has been getting a lot of hate for some stupid reasons, but honestly this trailer looks amazing! For some reason people want to hate on it because it's not following the story of the games and it's not using character from the games, but in my opinion that's a stupid reason to hate on this movie. I love the idea of a video game movie taking some creative liberties and telling it's own story as long as it stays true to the source material. Why in the world would you want to watch a movie tell you the same exact story you've probably already played multiple times? Just seems strange to me.

I am excited for this movie myself and I might even go see it in theatres when it releases.

So I found the trailer to an interesting movie.

So I was looking for a band named Flow and stumbled across the trailer to this movie instead. It looks really cute. I've never heard anyone ever talk about it, but it looks interesting to me and something I feel like I'd really enjoy, especially since it seems like the cat is the main focus.

Batman: Knightfall Part 1 trailer has been released!

I have been so excited for this movie and we finally got a trailer for it! The trailer looks good. My only complaint would be Bane's voice, but other than that I'm excited! And it comes out next month!

The new Avengers trailer is really testing me.

So I boycotted Disney completely. That means even the Marvel stuff. I did this due to a lot of personal issue I have with them. The fact that Disney doesn't actually care about the people that buy their products, the people that work for them, that means the actors or the people that make the finished product. The fact Disney is a-okay using AI garbage in their movies. And this list can go on and on and on, but I'll just leave it at that just to say Disney is absolute trash and should not be supported.

But man does this trailer look good! I've not seen a lot of the latest MCU stuff, I didn't see the last season of Loki, I didn't see the Thunderbolts, I didn't see the last Captain America movie, I haven't seen any of the Daredevil series. Like even if I wanted to see this movie I don't know anything that's happening in the MCU currently.

This is a great example though. Disney doesn't want people to pay attention to how bad they are, they just want you to pay attention to the movies they make. Oh they do something bad? Here's a really cool trailer that will make the millions of dollars. It's the same reason I hate Epic Games and Fortnite.

Transformers '99 episode on airs July 24th!

For those that didn't know there is a Tansformers fan animation that's being made and episode one airs in just a few days. The trailer for it looked great so I'm super hyped for this.

Finally watched Adventure Time: Side Quests!

Ok just the first episode, but still!

Adventure Time has always been my favorite show since...well forever I guess, or at least since it first started airing. I legit remember watching the original trailers for the show before it ever came out and then watching the very first episode the same night it aired. So when Side Quests was announced I was super excited. Like, don't get me wrong I love that Adventure Time started touching on a lot more serious and darker themes, but there's something special about those first few seasons that are so fun to watch.

They just have a special charm to them that you don't really get anymore. The comedy, the jokes, the theme, etc, it just has a special comfort to it I guess. So what did I think about the first episode? I loved it so much! Like everything! When I watched the trailer I thought the art style was an interesting choice, not bad, but just interesting. After watching the first episode I can honestly say I love it. It really fits with Adventure Time, especially the vibe they are going with. Not only that, but the animation itself is very nice. It still has that same style as the original few seasons, but it's a bit more bouncy. As for the cast they are great obviously. Most of the original cast return, all except for one obvious one, that being Jeremy Shada. In his place is Sasha Knight and he does great as Finn. His voice is clearly different from Jeremy's, but it's not bad or overly distracting at all.

I'm excited to keep watching more. I'm excited to see if the Lich shows up, I'm excited to see what other characters they bring in from all of the Adventure Time seasons that might now have shown up in the original few seasons. It will be fun to see them in a more lighthearted, goofy way.

I finally watched The Black Phone

So as you might have guessed from my last post I am not the biggest fan of a lot of modern western horror, but I have been wanting to watch The Black Phone ever since they released the first trailer. Well my friend and I had a scary movie night last night and we watched it and it was as good as I thought it would be!

It wasn't really scary, most movies aren't to me anymore, but it was still really good! The twist ending I thought was kind of dumb, and I thought there was going to be more to the kids' mom since they kept bringing her up, but those are the only real issue I had. For sure give it a watch! I'll be watching the second one at some point in the future.

I watched Annabelle last night.

So last night my friend and her two kids decided to have a scary movie night. We originally decided to watch Annabelle simply because I've never seen it. I am not a fan of most modern western horror movies because a lot of them just suck.

So what did I think of Annabelle? It was straight garbage dude. Oh my god I don't think I've seen a movie that bad in a long while. Nothing about it was scary, there was no suspense, even the jumpscares weren't good. Like, holy crap I knew modern horror was in a bad place, but wow I didn't realize it was that bad. Here I thought Malignant was the worst modern horror movie I had seen lately, but wow. I know Annabelle came out in 2014, but still these movies haven't gotten much better. My main issue is James Wan. He's a good director when he's not directing a horror movie. Like think about the non-horror movies he's directed. Aquaman, Furious 7, uh...hmm ok maybe that's not a good track record after all actually. Both those movies are good and fun to watch, his horror stuff though? An absolute slog to get through. It genuinely baffles me how people can keep sitting through this trash.

The Fortnite / Digital Circus collab is a spit in the face to the fans.

Like, I feel like I'm going crazy, because I feel like I'm the only person that feels this way.

Glitch and Goose have bot been very openly against AI. They both make it very clear how much they dislike AI and are very supportive of artists. Epic Games on the other hand? Complete opposite. Tim Sweeney just straight up embraces AI and AI slop has been in Fortnite multiple times. This shit is straight garbage.

Glitch can not claim to support artists and be against AI when they are openly supporting those that happily embrace it. Like, it's not even a secret that Epic Games embraces AI, Tim Sweeney has been hated on for months because of this exact thing.

But I guess as long as you get paid well then your own morals go out the window, right?

I got a Jax tattoo

So Jax means a great deal to me so as soon as I saw the finale I knew I needed to get a tattoo that represented Jax and I came up with this idea. It's a purple key ring with rabbit ears. I relate to Jax on a very personal level so having this on me means a lot.
