I need more Simon been the normal one. Like I know he is very traumatize, and that he comes from a cult, but if we consider all the stuff he had to pass through, it is normal he had reacted in that way; fighting for his life, been defensive since he knows he is in danger, crying when he breaks, in the end of the day he is just a guy with religious guilt and unused puppy eyes.
Grace and Rocky are profesional freaks. If they hadn't have the mission fo saving the stars, they would have spent all their time together studying each other anatomy and doing experiments to learn about their limits and show their capabilities, and in some extent they did that even with the pressure of the future of their planets over them.
Simon would have a hard start, having toubles in accepting that he is safe and that he doesn't have to rely on violence, but once he feels comfortable enough he would be an awkward guy with an arm less and some mutations.
Rocky and Grace would love to study him, and once they are confident that they are close enough to Simon to do so they would not miss and opportunity, they would take measures and samples, and do experiments and theories.
Simon while be taking care of his plants, while Rocky and Grace are making 10 different kinds of biologic bombs in the lab and a new me-burger with fish taste.
