Your recent PHM comic is SO GORGEOUS♡ The way you draw them is PERFECT~! ;w; I especially love how you draw Rocky, he's so movie accurate. Did you have any specific references you were looking at while working on this?

And yeah I do! Apart from a handful of screenshots and gifs from the movie, the references I use the most are
1: The 3D model from the PHM movie site. I will use the "unsupported statue" model now and then to check proportions. But the REALLY useful one is the "Action figure unsupported" one. Where every limb is separated. This means I can turn his arms and torso into the angle I need for reference. This is super useful for his front arms to make sure which of his markings are showing depending on how I'm posing him. However, it should be noted I don't think the 3D models are entirely accurate, as they have him standing a lot more widespread as the models are meant to be 3D printed. So for balance reasons they changed the way he stands. It's better to check screenshots and gifs to check how he holds himself.
Also, I don't know if it's accurate or not but I feel the model has his torso just ever so slightly bigger than it should be. Because I always end up having to scale it down a little after sketching it out.
(there was a tumblr user who had fully rigged this for 3D animation but after the learned they're not allowed to reshare modified versions of the model they deleted it and I only saw this AFTER they took it down and it is KILLING MEEEEEE)
2: These images which Tom Blake shared on his instagram which I use to reference his markings:
3: these gifs from tumblr which I tend to use the most. I open them up in Quicktime so I can go frame by frame to check things like posing as well as details
5: this video. but PLEASE NOTE this is an earlier design for Rocky so it is NOT accurate for things like the placement of his auricles. (or at least that's what I assume the patches of green crystal on him are, considering the device he uses to read screens is also crystal based. Although I am aware he's basically mottled with auricles in the tens of thousands. Anyway this is all technical stuff. My point is I mean the green crystals on his and this video is NOT accurate for that. However it IS accurate for other things like the positioning of his legs and how he looks from different angles)
The mother-of-pearl iridescence on his furthest back leg IS accurate however. Which is important to note because although it IS in the movie, it's often difficult to spot due to the xenonite itself being reflective
You can see it flash in this gif here although the light isn't showing off the iridescence as nicely
And this gif which has been instrumental to understanding what he does when he loafs. (he tucks his legs in under himself and then folds his forelegs in front of him)

I know there are most likely a TON of other resources online but I don't really like googling the movie that much because this movie has become so personal to me I don't really want to be bombarded by a thousand and one "Behind the scenes" looks and everyone's and their dog's opinions on it 😂 So I make do with what I have thanks to what people on tumblr share around.
