chapter 12 update 😋 a little nsfw things happening here

it’s actually really interesting to see how much i write in an hour and how i locked in at certain parts (not calculated are the times in between that i got distracted)

i also came up with another plot point in this chapter that will come back in later chapters and i really need to stop making it so complicated but like every plot point just works, you know?

i was hoping to finish this chapter today so i could post chapter 6 but i just couldn’t get there ☹️ hopefully i can get it finished soon so you guys can see the aftermath of the soulmate mark!

okay so going off my last post (and the few who asked to know :P ) about soul flowers!

the idea i wanted to get feedback on was (and i am going to try and do this in a way that won't spoil anything so wish me luck): what if anakin and rex had found din djarin on aq vetina? this wouldn't happen until like LATE in the plot of soul flowers so no worries that din would overshadow rexwalker, you know?

but they get sent to aq vetina and they are the ones to find din instead of the mandalorians and din is instantly taken with anakin and practically glued to his side and rex is all heart eyes because he had seen anakin with ahsoka but he had never seen him with a young child before and there would just be so much angst on top of angst here for what is planned and what it would mean for them at this point in the plot!

but i realize that it may be a little like "oh courtney just really likes the mandalorian" which is TRUE but i am a sucker for all of them being connected some how before the mandalorian timeline picks up and it would not totally erase din's upbringing as mandalorian since he would be raised by the vode (and it maybe it is just my selfish way of trying to make bobadin happen????) OR EVEN pazdin bc it essentially is almost the same dynamic as traditional bobadin with din raised by the vode and paz raised by the sect ANYWAYS this would be mostly at the end of soul flowers and into possible sequel territory but is this something that anyone would want to see? the timeline isn't really that strict, just that din lost his parents during the clone wars (which i still have not watched btw yikes!) so i am sure i could just yada yada the timeline and no one would bat an eye, but i figured i would ask if seeing rexwalker with din would be of interest to you guys? it isn't like a determined plot point in the story, despite it being written out in the outline like that. they could easily find another child or no child at all, i just wanted to gauge your interest!

sometimes this chapter feels like pulling teeth and then i’m like “i got the flow!!!!”

i also had an idea for a later chapter that’s in the outline but i want to gauge if people actually want to see that or if it would be stupid/mary sue shit

idk 🤷‍♀️ if anyone is interested let me know and i write about it and see what you guys think bc my friends thought it would be a cool tie in but when i think about it all i can think is people calling it dumb ☹️
