Sam - You really just look like a child in Sam's clothes. Even a shirt looks like a nightgown on you and honestly? That was mainly what you use them for, anyway. He really doesn't mind. He's glad you feel comfortable enough to be wearing his things!!!

Paul - Wearing Paul's clothes???? Hm. The man already ruins so many pairs of pants and socks and shirts, so that number is just going to go up when he rips everything off of you. You'll definitely have to set up a little clothing fund or something because Paul basically goes feral whenever he sees you wearing something of his.

Jared - This man is literally so funny, like you have no intention of borrowing any of his clothes because you KNOW everything is too big for you, but you make the mistake of mentioning that you're cold ONE TIME and before you know it, you're wearing six of his shirts, two gigantic sweatshirts, and a hat. He doesn't even wear hats, so you really aren't sure where it came from!!! Will make you wear his clothes if it's the last thing he does tbh because you look too adorable

Embry - Embry is so chill, he literally does not care. Are his socks disappearing? Yes. Have all of his sweatshirts gone missing? Yep. Just be warned - if you still it, he has full rights to demand a fashion show of you wearing his clothing.

Jacob - Literally doesn't even ask anymore, already knows that if he's missing a piece of clothing, it can probably be found somewhere in your closet. His closet isn't HIS closet. It's for BOTH of you. He's totally fine with it, but it can get frustrating when he can't find one of his favorite pairs of sweatpants!

Quil - Quil thinks you're literally SO cute. How can you be so cute when wearing his clothes?? He wants to just squeeze your cheeks and bury you in kisses because even though you're drowning in one of his old undershirts, you look so damn amazing

Leah - You're pretty tall and bulky, so Leah's clothes actually fit pretty well. She wears a lot of cropped shirts, cut off shorts, etc. stuff that's easy to take on and off, so everything fits you at least as good as it fits her. She loves letting you wear her clothes if you let her do the same with some of yours!!! She doesn't like to keep pretty things because they might get ruined, but you will absolutely let her borrow something of yours if it catches her eye.

Seth - even for a shapeshifter, Seth is still on the smaller side when compared to the others, so he's the only one who has clothes that even remotely fit you. They're a bit baggy, but honestly??? Take an oversized shirt and a pair of your own shorts and you're ready to take on the world. He is more than happy to share his wardrobe with you, even when he has to go searching for the majority of his things in your closet.

Cullens favorite types of movies? Also, I'm so happy to see a twilight saga blog in the year 2023 - it's so wild

Carlisle - Of course Carlisle likes older movies. There's no real genre, but if it's in black and white then he's probably a fan. He really adores the classics, and some of his favorites are Citizen Kane, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Maltese Falcon.

Esme - Esme is such a sucker for romance of all kinds, but classic romance can bring her to her knees. She loves a bittersweet ending, and she is TOTALLY a hallmark Christmas movie mom. She was a die hard Casablanca fan and a year cannot pass without her watching It's A Wonderful Life at least four times. Anything that makes her heart ache, she adores.

Edward - This dramatic asshole. Claims that he really only likes inspirational foreign French films because of the ~drama~ but you know what??? he secretly watches romance movies with Esme, not that it's actually a secret because everyone already knows. Pretty Woman? Yes. 10 Things I Hate About You? Absolutely. If he had the ability to cry, he definitely would have after watching A Walk to Remember.

Rosalie - Rosalie likes sci-fi and fantasy movies. Labyrinth is a special favorite, though it might be because of her crush on David Bowie. She was surprised at how much she enjoyed The Shape of Water, but you're more likely going to find her watching something like Close Encounters of the Third Kind or The Princess Bride.

Emmett - Emmett dabbles in movies - he really likes a bit of everything. Drama, comedy, action, fantasy - he wouldn't say he actually has a favorite. He thinks comedy might take precedence; he's a huge fan of anything by Mel Brooks.

Jasper - He hates how stereotypical it is, but he loves Westerns. He's seen pretty much everything that John Wayne has ever been in. Really, anything to do with history will be ok for him to watch, though it took him a while to be comfortable with some of the Civil War era movies. Loves The Patriot and Braveheart, though he isn't a fan of Mel Gibson, and Black Beauty has a special place in his heart.

Alice - Alice likes all of those corny teen romance films, like Princess Diaries or She's the Man. She isn't sure why, but they really make her happy!! They're always so cute and quirky, she adores them so much.

how the pack feels about having children :3

Sam

Loves kids, is terrified of being a dad. His worst nightmare is turning out like his own father, so he would be very careful with his children.

One or two would be great, a boy and a girl if he was extremely lucky, but only after the rest of the world settles down a bit - when he won't have to constantly worry about their safety.

Jared

Oh goodness, he would love to have a little group of kids one day. He always wanted siblings of his own and never got them.

Kids also love him!!! He doesn't know why, but kids always flock to him in public spaces despite his size and threatening stature.

Paul

Doesn't like other people's kids; would love his own children to death. Doesn't really know how he would be as a parent, but hopes he would be a decent one. He thinks - hopes - he would be stern but fair.

Embry

Very wary of children in general, if only because he doesn't know what to do with kids. How many times do they have to eat? How do diapers work? Did you know that you have to watch them like 24/7??

He thinks it might be because he was never around young kids, but he would have to think a loooooong time about whether or not he would want one of his own.

Jacob

Jacob honestly goes back and forth. Some days he definitely wants kids, other days he doesn't. He thinks it really might depend on whoever his significant other is.

Likes kids, but likes being able to return them to their parents at the end of the day, you know? But also thinks that it's probably going to be different when it's his.

Quil

Would be an AMAZING dad. He loves children to pieces, he really does, always has.

The only problem when it comes to Quil and kids is that he is NOT a disciplinarian. He would happily let them get away with anything because he just can't say no.

Leah

man, Leah loves kids. The thought that she won't have them makes her want to bury her face in her hands and cry.

Would like to have two or three and she would absolutely spoil them rotten. She would teach them to be strong and powerful and would never let anyone hurt them.

Really would be a great mom, if a bit overprotective.

Seth

too young to even think about children. He thinks that maybe a long time from now that he might want kids if he meets the right person, but right now, he doesn't even want to think about it.

They're always sticky and they smell weird and he just doesn't want to deal with that.

I'll be posting headcanons, imagines, preferences, and the occasional drabble, so feel free to send in your prompts to the ask box. I look forward to hearing your ideas!

Hello, I would like to know if you could write preferences about the pack feeling in need of attention and affection

Sam - Sam will stare. He would rather die than say anything out loud, but you'll know he wants attention when he won't stop looking at you. His eyes will flick away when you turn toward him, but as soon as you turn your back, he'll be staring longingly at you again. He doesn't want to make you feel weird or awkward, but he just likes looking at you and hopes you want to spend time with him too.

Jared - SUCH AN ANNOYING LITTLE BABY!!! There's no hiding when he wants attention. It doesn't matter what you're doing, who you're talking to, where you are, etc. If he wants attention, he's going to get it but tossing you over his shoulder and dragging you away.

Paul - Stubborn, stubborn boy. Will deny adamantly that he needs attention, which is basically your signal that he needs a hug and a forehead kiss or something. Yeah, yeah, you get it, he's a big brave man who can do anything, but he also needs some affection now and then.

Embry - You know he wants attention when he starts distracting you while you're working. It will be little things at first, like asking you where he placed his phone or the remote, but then he'll kind of hover over you while you sit at the computer or just lean against your chair and play with your hair. You won't be able to get anything done, so you'll just have to push your chair away from your desk and spend some time with him until he's content.

Jacob - In public, it's just running his fingers over your arm or playfully tugging a piece of your hair. If you're alone, he'll make it blatantly obvious that he wants affection.

Quil - If he wants attention, you'll know. He'll make it very clear by just outright saying, "I need attention right now or I am going to die." He's so dramatic about it, but he's a guy who needs to know where he stands with you at all times, so it kind of makes sense.

Leah - Leah won't say anything outright, but she's the type to sigh loudly until you take the initiative. The sighs will get louder and louder until you finally turn to her and say, "you want to go get something to eat and watch a movie together or something?" and she'll be like, "ugh, I was busy but yeah, I guess." But secretly that was her plan all along.

Seth - He will get so!!! cuddly!!! You'll be sitting on the sofa and before you even realize it, he'll have snuck up next to you and put your head in his lap. Run your fingers through his short hair and you'll have him eating out of the palm of your hand basically.

The Cullens don't eat, but what were their favorite foods when they were human?

Carlisle - So, foods in the 1600s weren't exactly the greatest. Carlisle ate better than most, but it was still meager. There was a lot of mutton and venison, oats and other grains; lots of spinach and sorrel and stews. He was quite fond of fruit pies as a dessert, when they could afford them.

Esme - Honestly? Esme was quite fond of Oreos; the little cookies were first released in 1912 and she adored them. In fact, she liked most sweets, especially Angel Food Cake and these apricot biscuits that her mother used to favor.

Edward - Edward remembers liking pork a lot as a child, when his mother would cover them in bread crumbs and fry them in oil. He was also a fan of glazed carrots and liked caramel candies.

Rosalie - she loved baked apples, especially when drizzled with honey. Grapefruit was also quite popular then, and she remembers eating them a lot for breakfast when they were sprinkled with sugar. They were very lucky to have food on their table at the time, and she remembers eating a lot of fried egg sandwiches, glazed ham, and potato soup.

Emmett - They didn't have access to a lot of foods, so there was a lot of tinned meats and vegetables that his mother grew in their garden. His family is Scotch-Irish, so he ate a lot of cabbage and corned beef, which he loved. He remembers colcannon most fondly, that spiced mixture of potatoes, turnips, and carrots.

Jasper - food was rationed for Jasper as a soldier in the Civil War. There was a lot of molasses, hard tack, and salt. Wheat and cornmeal were quite common, so if he had to choose, he thinks that he misses cornbread the most. It was such a simple dish back then, a rare delicacy when they could have access to sugar.

Alice - she misses seafood most of all. She vaguely remembers eating fried fish and brown rice. She also misses certain fruits, like cherries and strawberries.

Paul Lahote:

Keeps a few bottles of water and a pack of energy bars in his bedside drawer, just in case. The man likes being prepared.

Had a bittersweet childhood. He loves his mom to D E A T H and he knows she's practically a saint for putting up with all of his shit from childhood and his high school years.

His dad is still alive and his parents are still together, but they've always been distant from each other. There's no particular reason; he thinks it's because their personalities have always clashed. It's basically as if he lives with a stranger in his home.

Falls in love a lot; falls out of love just as fast. Has gone on a lot of first dates, but not a lot of second dates, which is where his reputation of a heartbreaker emerged. He just loses interest pretty quickly.

Not much a book person; he likes music, but he can do without it most of the time. But movies? This man is a movie buff. Movies of all types - the classics, action, comedy, weird artsy foreign films, fantasy, romance? He loves them all.

Emmett Cullen:

Is very proud of his home town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He really loved growing up there, but doesn't go back often. The last time he went back to Tennessee was in 1986, when he dragged Rosalie about twenty minutes away to Pigeon Forge for the Dollywood Grand Opening.

LOVES video games but he gets so stressed out for no reason. Has broken 14 controllers and 6 TV's. Tends to favor Playstation and Xbox - the nintendo consoles and controllers are surprisingly easy to break.

Only has small glimpses of his life before Rosalie - the sound of his father chopping wood; loud, boisterous laughter as he joked with his brother; a sting on the back of his hand when his mother swatted him with a spoon for trying to sneak a slice of pie.

He's not upset about it, though! I mean, it's sad, sure, but he keeps himself moving forward. He loves his family and he adores this blonde goddess who saved his life.

One of his biggest dreams is to become TikTok famous. Still pissed because Carlisle says he cannot do anything stupid on social media "for the views."

Quileute Wolf Pack - Sleeping Habits

Sam

An awful sleeper, not in the sense that he's awful to sleep next to, it's just that... he can't sleep for a few hours without waking up. He doesn't know if it's a holdover of sleeping lightly because he was terrified of when his father would randomly come home in the middle of the night drunk out of his mind, but it still happens

Up and down all night, but has mastered the art of not waking up his significant other

Looks stressed out even when he sleeps.

Jared

Mr. Cuddles

No sense of personal space when it comes to sleeping. You'll wake up sweating profusely because he has somehow wrapped all four of his limbs around you in the middle of the night and WILL not let go.

Snores, but it's a very quiet rumbling. A good noise to fall asleep to, but not something that will keep you up at night.

Sleeps in just his boxers, usually

Paul

Sleeps naked, doesn't care what anyone else thinks. The man ran hot even before he shifted, so now it's just ridiculous.

Shoves all of his blankets to the side and onto his partner

Kind of an obnoxious sleeper, snores loudly but ONLY if he's sleeping on his back.

Deeeeeep sleeper. Almost impossible to wake up when he's out. You have a problem in the middle of the night? lmao good luck

Embry

Curls up into a tight ball to be as unobtrusive as possible.

Likes being the little spoon

A light sleeper. Takes him a long time to fall asleep and if he wakes up, chances are that he'll be up for a while.

Sleeps with the window open. Doesn't care that his room might get damp; he likes the sounds of the crickets and the wind too much to care.

Mumbles in his sleep sometimes about nothing in particular.

Jacob

Doesn't move much when he sleeps. He'll probably reach out to touch you to make sure that you're still there, but otherwise he pretty much keeps to his side of the bed unless you are the one to move over to snuggle against him.

Kicks his blankets all the way to the end of the bed every night.

Three pillows: one for under his head, one for in his arms, and one to wrap his legs around.

Quil

Has like four fans spinning in his room at once because the man is H O T.

Has a thing about sleeping with his socks on? He has to sleep with socks. No question. Anyone who's sleeping next to him must ALSO have socks because he will jump and scream if cold bare feet touch him in the middle of the night.

Shirtless, but usually wears boxers or like basketball shorts or something to bed. It just can't be constricting, otherwise he won't be able to fall asleep

Leah

Don't even THINK about touching Leah when she sleeps because you WILL get a whole can of whoop-ass unleashed. Can't stand being touched in her sleep for whatever reason

She'll snuggle with you, but she'll be up all night because of it and will probably untangle herself from you in the middle of the night

It's a sensory thing - she doesn't know why it bothers her, it just does

Sleeps in shorts and a tank top, or sometimes just the tank top and underwear

Light sheet, lots of fluffy pillows

Seth

Don't judge him for his many stuffed animals, okay??? He has attachment issues and doesn't want to get rid of them

Doesn't snore, but flops around a lot. He's woken up sideways, half on the floor, limbs flailing around, feet near the headboard.

Likes to have noise when he sleeps, so he probably has the TV on and is half-listening to it while he dozes

Quileute Wolf Pack - How They Take Their Coffee

Emily is the only person who was ever able to make his coffee correctly.

Has to be as black as his fur

Jared

A normal guy who is basically the only person who drinks coffee like an average person.

A cup or two every morning, a little bit of cream and two or three sugars.

Paul

Would inject coffee into his veins if he could

Loves coffee to an insane degree.

A lot of sugar, just a little bit of cream. Thinks flavored creamer is blasphemous

Embry

Embry doesn't hate coffee, it's just not his favorite thing in the world. He used to have a sensitive stomach so he avoids it by instinct

Prefers a nice cup of hot cocoa, but also likes tea sometimes

Jacob

Usually just makes coffee for his dad, doesn't often make it for himself. Turns on the coffee pot before he leaves in the morning

He has to be REALLY exhausted to make himself a cup, and loads it with a horrific amount of sugar

Quil

Starbucks queen

Strawberry frappucinos with extra whipped cream for life

Leah

Leah sometimes has a cup of coffee with her mom in the mornings if she's up early enough.

She has to have some kind of flavored creamer, though, and lots of sugar. Doesn't like the natural coffee taste.

Seth

Does not like coffee, has never liked coffee, and will never like coffee.

A soda drinker through and through.

Yes I absolutely accept prompts. You can ask for prompts with any combination of characters from the Twilight Saga.

I'm planning to mainly write for the Cullens (Esme, Carlisle, Edward, Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, and Alice) and the Wolf Pack (Sam, Jared, Paul, Embry, Jacob, Quil, Leah, and Seth.)

If you want just the wolves, that's fine - if it's just the Cullens, that's fine, too, or any combination of those groups! If you're not sure, just ask! :)

Twilight Saga Headcanons - What They Smell Like

The Cullens:

Carlisle takes great pride in his grooming, but tends to go for scentless soaps because some of his patients have allergies. Always somehow smells a little like disinfectant when he gets home after work. He somehow smells very ancient, like incense and a scent you might discover walking through an extremely old and dusty church.

Everything about Esme smells delicate. Her favorite scents as a human were floral and light, like lavender and rosewater. Definitely has an aroma of perfume that trails after her, though she doesn't wear any.

The only way to really describe Edward's scent is clean. Icy cedar, fresh snow, and oranges. It's a pure, subtle scent.

Rosalie's scent is arguably the most powerful. It isn't strong, but it's enticing. It's like warm Tennessee Whiskey and dripping honey - a scent that's designed to seduce and draw you in.

Emmett would absolutely smell like Axe body spray if Rosalie would let him wear it - she doesn't. It stings EVERYONE's noses to an insane degree. Overall, though, Emmett smells like warm velvet, like a blanket you've just pulled out of the dryer.

Even after all this time, Jasper still carries the faint scent of gunpowder. There's something about his scent that stings, like mint and eucalyptus.

Alice smells like salt and coconut, like a sweet and windy beach day. She also carries a light scent of sparking ozone, but it's so faint that sometimes they all forget that it's there.

Wolf Pack:

Sam assumes he smells so much like food because of the many hours spent in Emily's kitchen. Sam is warm honey mixed in with steaming oatmeal; fresh bread and maple syrup.

Jared used to smell like leather because of the jacket he always wore to school, but that was destroyed years ago when he phased. It's an extremely manly scent mixed with vanilla and amber.

Paul's scent is very warm and spicy, a natural and earthy woodsy musk, like the soil after a heavy rain. It can tingle your nose, but it's still very attractive.

Surprisingly, the one who smells most like the outdoors is Embry. His whole body is tied to the scent of patchouli and pine; it's a very nature-based scent.

A lot of Jacob's scent is mixed in with how much time he spends around cars, so you'll get a whiff of rush and metal and probably motor oil, but it isn't unpleasant or off-putting.

Tobacco is the leading scent for Quil, which he assumes is because of his grandfather. He also smells very much like ginger and cinnamon.

Though she's never been a big reader, Leah smells like old books and paper. It's a bit of a dusty scent, but goes well when mixed with her favorite vetiver lotion and body wash.

Seth has a very bright and welcoming smell, like cinnamon sugar or a freshly baked pie crust. It's a smell you somehow always associate with your childhood, but you can't put your finger on exactly why.
