Life Series Spin the Wheel Game
Congratulations! You've been selected to participate in a season of the Life Series.
You'll need allies; roll a d4 and then spin the player wheel that many times to see who you end up teaming with (if you get repeats, re-roll). They are only as loyal as you'd expect them to be, given past performance.
Unfortunately, you also managed to wrong someone early on - whether on accident or on purpose - and now they're out for your blood once they turn red. Spin the player wheel again to see who you've got hunting you down later in the season. (If you roll a teammate, feel free to reroll.)
But what's the gimmick? Spin the seasons wheel to see what mechanics, if any, you'll be dealing with. If you get Last Life, roll a d6 to see how may lives you're starting with. If you get Double Life, the first player you rolled for your alliance is also your soulmate. Good luck!

man there truly will never be anything like the experience of moon's big again. part of this is that the hermits don't really want to do that again (both for 'they didn't like doing the short season' reasons and for 'audience reaction to the storyline' reasons). part of this is that to some extent that kind of moment only works once. but like. the buildup man. the month of streams and videos. the creeping dread. the moon bunnies. and then the day everyone actually DROPPED their video. bdubs and his unreliable narrator moments. "did you get everything you needed". everything about it. i miss her (the moon crashing into hermitcraft)... i just want her back (the moon crashing into hermitcraft)...
EVERYONE WHO MISSES MOON BIG SHOULD WATCH SKYBLOCK KINGDOMS BECAUSE SOMETHING INCREDIBLY SIMILAR TO IT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW ACTUALLY
The first main plotline of SBK was called the OSSHA arc, and was about how one character was under the command of a powerful being and was trying to keep people from falling into the void (it's skyblock). Another character was purposefully feeding people to the void, because the void being hungry would upset the world's balance and destroy their islands. That all got resolved, but now...
Blocks (and a person) are falling from the sky, and no one knows *why*. People are assuming they've upset the void, again, but they're not sure how! Someone's going to try and see if they can farm the blocks! Some are ignoring it, saying "it's fine, it'll all be fine," even though everyone with a connection to the void is saying it's not fine. It's not unlikely that at least one person does know what's going on, or at least partly does, but they're not in control of their own self so they can't do anything about it! A lot of characters also have big plotlines with impending doom coming for them even if they don't know it, and everything's crashing together all at once and it's so much fun

Spring has finally come!
Treebarkweek2024 "This world has missed you" prompts are here! Maybe, after a crimson red winter, we can have a soft and pink spring. As always, everything is dedicated to creating content for the Treebark ship and sharing it with others who like it too.
The event will go from April 14 to April 17, with our usual dual prompts.
Supernova mode is also back! If you can't make the full week, you can just pick the last few days, from April 18 to April 20. You'll have three prompts per day instead, and you can take on the special challenge, using one prompt only on the 18th, then two the next day, then the three for the last day.
You can choose to do the whole week from April 14 to April 20, to only Supernova, or even use the Supernova prompts as regular prompts (one per day). You can follow the prompts or make your own, and create whatever you'd like- canon, canon-divergent, AUs, anything! When you post your work, use the event tags #treebarkweek and#treebarkweek2024 so we can find your post and reblog it for others to see! You can tag us as well to make sure we see your post.
We'll post reminders as the date gets closer. See you then! We can't wait to see what spring brings.
