Esme: Kids, why don't you sit down? Your father and I need to talk to you.
Rosalie: What's this about??
Carlisle: Well, it seems some of the teachers and staff at Forks High are worried about you.
Alice: Oh no. I saw this coming.
Esme: They say you don't eat, you don't socialize at all, you only speak if called on, and that you are missing far too many days of school.
Edward: But our grades are perfect!
Carlisle: That's right. They believe that you are all cheating as well.
Rosalie: But what is THIS about then? You guys don't care about any of this.
Esme: We're disappointed in what a piss-poor job you're doing of blending in, frankly.
Carlisle: You have all opted to start young so we can stay here for as long as possible, and I greatly appreciate your willingness to do that in order that I may practice here for several years. But . . . if you're not going to put in the effort, why are we even bothering?
Esme: The idea of going to school is to make us look normal, but it seems the five of you are just making yourselves stand out even more!
Carlisle: No one is making you go to high school. You all agreed to do it. If you didn't want to, you merely had to say so and we would have come up with an alternate story.
Emmett: *raises hand* I don't want to go to high school. I'm 20, and it's boring as all hell.
Jasper: I don't want to go to high school. I was born in the 1840s. This is all kinds of ridiculous. Plus there's too much . . . temptation.
Alice: But we HAVE to go! I've ~seen that Edward will meet his soul mate in some crappy American high school!
Rosalie: Then let Edward go by himself. I've got better things to do with my time.
Edward: Wait, what was that about meeting my soulmate?
