Interesting we tend to associate Twilight with autumn (at least that's the vibe in fandom and I feel it, too!) when most of the story actually takes place in . . . not autumn.

Most of the first book takes place in March, with a little at the beginning in January and the Prom in May. No autumn at all.

The second book starts in September, although technically still summer because autumn doesn't start until around the 21st, but then skips to January. Again the climax of the story happens in March.

Eclipse is all May/June.

First part of Breaking Dawn takes place in summer (August - first half of Sept) then there's a time skip to just before Christmas and the confrontation with the Volturi happens on New Year's Eve.

The most "autumn" part of the series are the blank page months in New Moon.

honestly i can see alice and bella eventually finding a compromise in a good vintage or thrift shop. i feel like bella would like the idea of her clothes having a "life" before her and not being wasteful, meanwhile alice can enjoy really diving into vintage fashion
