I WANT A REDEMPTION ARC FOR SALEM.

but i dont want it to be your usual arc, i want it to be a PERSONAL REDEMPTION at first. i dont want her to sit there and right her wrongs; i want salem to accept everything that’s been done and all that she has done, i want her to realize that death is an important balance and sometimes we have to say goodbye to the people we love most.

i want salem to look in the mirror and see those blue eyes again, i want her to look up at the sky and not think of the gods leaving; but endless possibilities, i want her to go to a far away land and rebrand herself, she’ll never fit into society again. i want her to not only close a chapter, but burn the whole damn book for what’s been done. i want people to hate her, i want people to kick scream and yell, and rather than take pride; i want her to look in the shattered mirror and see that all that’s been done is her allowing trauma to completely take a hold. i want her to become that lonely witch again, but rather than the witch in the house; i want her to be the hoodied figure that roams the earth, i want her to inhale all the bad she’s caused and explode as a result. i want the people to tell her when its okay to merely be again, then maybe once she’s fixed herself inwardly, other people will see what she’s been the whole time: a woman with too big of a heart that was drove to insanity by a fate that was never hers.
