The thing people forget about headcanons is that they don't need evidence to back them up. They're not fully formed, complex theories, they're smaller things. Like thinking a character would like jazz based on vibes. Or saying a character is queer just because you want them to be. As long as it's not actively contradicted by the text (and sometimes even when it is), headcanon is fair game and does not need evidence. It's nice if you have evidence, but you don't need it.
