Cody helped out at the vegan outreach table today. He was there to help inspire compassion for birds and all other critters! More and more people seem to be on board with choosing a cruelty-free diet. Very exciting!

It took me some extra time to reach the table because somebirdy got swarmed.

I feel a special connection with the judgmental guy in the blue shirt. I have the exact same expression on my face every time I see vegan propaganda on my dash just because I follow the chicken, agriculture, and livestock tags.

I completely agree with @compulsivefarmer. When I saw this on my dash I actually screamed and threw my phone…. so done with extremist animal rights and vegan propaganda. I’ll actually go butcher a chicken in the morning and eat it for brunch just because of this post 😂😡😂😡

How did you get your two birds to become such good Friends or how long did it take for them to get use to each other? I have a noble(similar to your hans) and a green cheek and they generally ignore each other and tend to want to keep their distance, I'm not trying to forcing them, and I can accept that they may never be friends but I want to courage them, if you have any tips! Thanks!

So sorry for the late reply, my account never alerted me to the messages! My guys just sort of became friends on their own. It was gradual, and took about a year. With Toby being a Yellow Nape, though, I never fully trust him with her....

I would be extremely interested in researching heterospecific (differing species) attraction. These two birds, a blue crown conure and a white-faced whistling duck, cuddle together and are never too far apart in their very large exhibit. The conure will preen the duck and follow him around. Some people dont think animals can have complex emotions, but if its not love on that conure’s face then I dont know what to call it.
