Hi. I'm Deejay, a black trans writer who is housing vulnerable and I'm just tryna survive a weird change of income after turning a job down for lack of accommodation for my disabilityand schedule.
I'm hyper focused on rent. Especially after some fatigue spells after a ptsd episode.
Black agender poet from the Chicagoland area Individual poems on the posts section!
Hey y'all. I am making this post for rent and a few bills. Someti… D'Wight Walker needs your support for Support DJ's Fresh Start After Leav
Please help bruh. Nothing makes any sense anymore. Im in a food desert, I need money for milk bread and eggs and I feel like every other need is gonna push me behind. Im busy with my case manager handling a stalker this week. Please help me stay secure?
just because trans men do not have the same level of male privilege as cis men doesn't mean they don't have relative male privilege compared to trans women. this is not petty drama, this is not toxic infighting, this is intersectionality 101. this can be measured by pay discrepancy, media representation, sports laws, crime statistics, etc. the trans community will not accomplish anything worthwhile if we pretend that there are no hierarchies here. misogyny is real, so is racism, ableism, classism, and fatphobia. get with the program, swallow some uncomfortable truths, and stop acting like trans women are being unfair to you for acknowledging that you are a man.
The World Is Celebrating Eid. My Family Is Melting Inside a Tent in Gaza

Dear friends of Palestine, friends of Gaza and friends of my family in Gaza!
FINALLY!!! We are at 99% of our goal in our campaign to evacuate the living hell of Gaza and rebuild our life in Ireland!
While people post Eid outfits, food, and family photos, my family in Gaza is trying to survive another day of bombs, hunger, fear, and unbearable heat.
There is NO safe place left in Gaza.
The bombardment continues every single day.
The explosions never stop.
And now summer has turned the tents they live in into literal ovens.
Imagine trying to sleep inside plastic and fabric under a burning sky while drones and airstrikes continue around you.
This is NOT a temporary hardship.
My family has lived through this nightmare for more than two years.
Two years of displacement.
Two years of terror.
Two years of watching their lives collapse piece by piece.
I am in Ireland, studying and trying to build a future, while every day I fear getting the phone call that my family did not survive the night.
We have already come such a long way thanks to the incredible support from friends of Gaza and Palestine around the world. Truly, we would never have made it this far without you.
And now we are VERY close to reaching our final goal.
Our only goal is to evacuate my entire family from Gaza to Egypt temporarily, and then reunite safely together in Ireland.
Please do NOT abandon Gaza and my family because the headlines got quieter.
Please don’t stop caring because the world moved on.

I can speak Aboriginal but not in the way a person might learn a second language, such as french.
I speak Aboriginal english first, I know certain Aboriginal words for certain things.
I know how to say crocodile in Larrakia, I know how to say brother in Yolngu
I can say goodbye in three different languages.
I live in QLD so the language and gestures are all Murri, and the north is different from the south. Sometimes the spelling for a word differs via location.
sometimes I sing songs in pitjantjatjara, maybe I don't know what they mean exactly but I understand the vibe.
sometimes I look up a word and its got a completely different meaning to one I knew growing up.
sometimes I look up a word and I can't find it anywhere. Sometimes there's no one left alive who could tell me the original meaning or how it changed over time.
sometimes Indigenous languages are more than a set of grammar rules.
Further context: Durham city council (Reform UK) cut funding and support for Pride. The Durham Miner's Association and other trade unions raised enough money for Durham Pride 2026 to go ahead - a direct call back to when Lesbian and Gays Support the Miners (LGSM) raised money for mining communities when Margaret Thatcher seized union funding during the miner strikes of 1984-85.
At the 1985 Labour party meet, the motion to support LGBT rights as a party was passed due to a block vote from mining unions.
Stephen Guy, the chair of the Durham Miners’ Association, said that when it became apparent Durham Pride was under threat, he took it upon himself to “encourage the trade union movement to step up and do the right thing, and stand shoulder to shoulder with the LGBT+ community […] They not only raised funds for us, but came to our communities, uplifted our spirits when they were down, and showed their solidarity.”
