Garden updates! It's been almost a month since my last garden photo set, and things are really taking off. These are peppers, tomatoes, peas and broccoli plants. I have so much anticipation for all the wonderful veggies.
I hope y'all are enjoying my periodic updates on their progress, I know it's a bit of a change from my usual work, but it's something I'm passionate about and love to share, and hey, if you live in the area, hit me up and I'll make you a rocking salad.
Stay tuned for our regularly scheduled programing of community events and the beautiful faces of DC.
Sorry for briefly disappearing!
I have been working on big, awesome things that I'll hopefully get to share with you very soon in the coming months!

Friends at Town on Saturday night.
Andy Bowen pulls from punk, soul, hip-hop, country, folk, shoegaze, industrial, and free jazz to get at a sound that approximates the abstract things she feels through an average week. She writes lyrics that leave nothing to the imagination, because anything she thinks that isn't abstract tends to be really specific. Her debut album, The 26th Anniversary Edition, is coming out in May 2013. Last week I got to spend some time with her hanging out and taking photos before the release. In the meantime, check her out on SoundCloud
Did you know DC actually still has some wetlands? My friend from over at Drifting Focus Photography and I went on a nature walk on Earth Day. See for yourself in the video of images I took at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens.
Oil slick taken on Earth Day in the wetlands at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in Washington, DC
Took a break from my usual, and uploaded some pictures of my balcony garden. Fuck yeah Earth Day!
I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them!
