Once... She literally said she got bored of me and left. It was that day that I realized that she was really just a bitch.
people are really bending over backwards to make up reasons marie kondo or her methods are problematic it’s so bizarre
literally if you don’t wanna clean up her way just don’t do it she’s not in your house holding a gun to your head telling you to throw away family heirlooms
Yeah my LE 'lock is about to fucking bitch slap the LG cleric if they don't stop trying to piss off the goblin tribe we need to gain the trust of in order to progress the story. Idfc if he has like 18 ac I'll Eldritch knock his ass out and leave him for dendar if he doesn't quit. And he's just doing it because "evil gobbos must die."
Some of you guys have never played a healer and it shows
-Syn: That is how a class-based MMO system works, There are more classes than Healer, which inherently means people do have to play it for the first time at some point.
Edit: someone brought up a good point, @ dps who think they understand a healers job w/o having ever played a healer, just know I really really don’t like you.
I usually tank because I hate wiping because other tanks pull the whole instance and the healer just can't heal that much that fast, and I honestly feel bad for the healers. I usually try to do small groups (3-4 mobs at a time, unless it's unavoidably huge) but it's always the hunter, mage, or fury warrior that have to pull before I do and almost cause a wipe. I've healed too, but I usually stop once I've wiped around 8 times because the group won't pull a reasonable amount of mobs.

Before the computing era, ILM was the master of oil matte painting, making audiences believe that some of the sets in the original Star Wars and Indiana Jones trilogy were real when they weren’t. They were the work of geniuses like Chris Evans, Michael Pangrazio, Frank Ordaz, Harrison Ellenshaw and Ralph McQuarrie ! Forever thank you, to their handmade art and the work of their colleagues, that made us dream of impossible worlds and fantastic places across Earth and the Universe.
There are more background paintings on this article, featuring comments by the masters/artists themselves !
Some of the following pieces were made by other artists 2:

SHUT UP I thought they were miniatures!!!!
It’s too beautiful. I could cry.
I love this because I’ll be watching a movie and think “how did they do that? Is that a building they built for this movie? Was it there beforehand? Is it cardboard or CGI? Is that actually some place on Earth that they’re filming?” And the answer to all of these now is “nope, that’s a painting”. I can’t believe some of the most iconic, familiar shots were paintings!
Wait i thought the ewok planet (can't remember the name, sorry) scenes were filmed I one of those redwood forests in california...

the fact that daedra had to stop opening gates in black marsh because the argonians kept reverse-invading them is so funny to me it was just like
daedra: we’re invading
argonians: no, we’re invading
Daedra: invades
Argonians:
argonians: WHO’S THE DAEDRA NOW, ASSWAGON
Daedra: WE COME FROM A REALM OF FLAME AND DEATH TO CONQUER YOU
Argonians:
Black Marsh is worse than Oblivion so it was a step up for the Argonians
Who would win? Literal fucking demons or some scaley bois?
Every day I find more proof that Argonians are the best race in Elder Scrolls.
So. The finale of the series will be TES: Black Marsh?

Ok ok ok what's with these alliance "purge squads" I keep hearing about? I don't know much about what's happening other than they're just hunting down and exterminating the vulpera because... I honestly have no clue why. It's out of character for the alliance to do something that evil with no explanation, so what gives? Other than pushing the vulpera more towards the horde story wise what did this accomplish?
If this doesn’t get into Kingdom Hearts III, then SquareEnix truly doesn’t have a sense of humor.
update: apparently canberra’s skywhale was harpooned and died
Local resident Michelle Bedford says what she saw can only be described as ‘incredibly unlikely’ and ‘bizarrely beautiful’.
“The guy got on the roof of his van with a crazy look in his eyes I’ve never seen before, as if in his universe there was only him and the Skywhale. He hurled the broomhandle like a harpoon, got it right through the eye.
“We all clapped and cheered, not like we hate the Skywhale or anything but it was just unbelievably cool.”
It then took several hours for security staff and onlookers to disentangle Ahab from the corpse of the Skywhale which had slowly but majestically fallen directly on top of him, like a heavenly blanket with massive breasts.
The sculpture, a hot air balloon depicting a whale as it may have evolved if it lived in the air rather than the sea, has had a mixed reception since it was first launched in 2013. Critics of the Skywhale cited its outlandish appearance, large breast-like appendages and ‘dumb, smug whale face’.
…
Artist Patricia Piccinini, who designed the sculpture, has asked that charges not be pressed against Mr Ahab, claiming that she was “invigorated” to see the public engaging with the artwork on such a meaningful level and that she couldn’t ask for a “more fitting way for a big balloon that looks like a whale to complete its lifecycle in the public eye.”
When asked if the ‘killing’ of the Skywhale had any allegorical significance or if the quest to find and destroy it was in some way symbolic of a larger tale Mr Ahab told reports “Nah mate, just f-ing hate that bloody whale.”
….This. THIS is art.

Im loving this expansion, but I do agree that blizzard is having a hard time figuring out how to not make the horde the bad guys, or at least making the story “morally grey”. I don’t even care if the horde has to suffer a lot, even though I’m a horde player, if it means that blizzard is able to turn the tides and make the alliance do morally/ethically questionable things, even if they had no other choice, so long as the old gods have no influence. For example: the horde has suffered at the hands of godawful warchiefs and old god influences and all that jazz, Sylvannas steps down from being warchiefs and baine steps up, and the horde finally gets back on its feet and is trying to stabilize. One of the alliance leaders, let’s say genn greymane, decides that now is the perfect time to “pay them back” for all of the horde’s past crimes, such as burning the world tree and destroying gilneas. He gets the support of a couple of the other leaders, let’s say the night elves and jaina, but the rest see it as a low-blow and “no better than the horde”. So of course cliches happen, as to be expected, and those leaders all go behind the backs of the alliance and start assaulting small horde towns and settlements that border alliance territory, to make it seem less suspicious. Eventually they start hiring mercenary armies and such to support their troops in durotar and other major horde zones that they have a small foothold in, and start attacking certain zones, like the valley of trials, striking at the new Horde troops fresh out of training. Horde notices this, calls out alliance on their bullshit, alliance doesn’t like being called out, starts attacking bigger targets, catching the eye of the other leaders that didn’t approve at first. Those leaders are pissed but need to either send help or diffuse the situation, ultimately sending help is the only option. The crippled horde now has to defend against the alliance that they did not provoke or threaten, but with help from some past and recent allies (the zandalari empire, the pandaren who sympathize with the horde, the vulpera maybe, the allied races etc.) They are able to beat back the alliance without being “dishonorable” and all that jazz. Dungeons and raids for the alliance would be attacking major horde cities (leaders escaping but leaving behind a cache of goodies) and large towns, for the horde it would be defending against several waves of alliance and protecting the leaders/civilians.
See? A whole expansion where the horde aren’t necessarily the “bad guys” and the alliance is to blame, and no old god involvement, right off the top of my head. Obviously not a complete or even well though out expansion, but just an example on how blizz could have gone with another “alliance vs horde” expansion.
Except that u ignore what’s happening. Glenn greymane Is a good guy more than justified in attacking sylvanas for any reason . His whole country was literally destroyed by her and she killed his son. Furthermore all the lore of this expansion has been in softening him. He’s less likely to attack the horse more than ever. They are simply sylvanas weapons he fights them because they belong to her.
Furthermore the conflict right now is entirely the fault of the horde or rather sylvanas. The horse were never the good guys due to the orc nationalists and forsaken slavers and murderers. The plot of cataclysm and pandaria resulted in most of the orc nazis dying with garrosh. So now the orcs aren’t brimming with geniciders who think it’s ok to take if the victim is to weak to fight you off. That leaves sylvanas who’s said ‘death to the scourge and death to the living" who saw hell and decided all her minions were arrows in her quiver to stop death from reaching her. She does legitimately think undeath is superior and the living cannot coexist. But the problem is she is willing to force those ideas on others. In every piece of media she’s in we see she’s willing to lie to and manipulate the horde to suit her goals. The events of A Good War was her using the hordes hatred and prejudice to put enough fear into them to manipulate them. See her conflict in lordearon she basically says “if you aren’t willing to defile the hordes dead you want us to die” making her sound like a patriot and anyone who has as problem with rapping the dead as the bad guys.
The horde will oust her diplomatically and 2 or more expansions of peace will rein do to the horde realizing their prejudices were used to commit evil and the fact that the only things keeping them from being a good faction are removed. That will leave the alliance and horde lead by 2 ppl who are friends. No doubt before it’s over the night elves will go to far. Remember in legion us going to argus was a surprise. So as far as we know in 8.3 a giant fleet of Nauru are going to arrive, see an entire planet full of void ( old gods and at least 4 playable races affected by void) , declare marshal law and use the alliances 4 priest faction leaders to start a campaign to crystallize everything starting with the horde who’s lead by a literal shadow monster.
But regardless I’m sick of ppl wanting genn who has every right to hate sylvanas forever or anduin who’s never had a mean thought and is just a child, to be the bad guys when the reason the horde has been is because orcs love genocide and forsaken love it more.
For petes sake the orcs wiped out the draenei before the demons controlled them black blackhand told thralks mother that his clan would kill weak children like her, the forsa oh em literally kill humans and force undeath on them and there are human test subjects in the apothecary and a labotomized mind slave in undercity (or there was)
While this was just an example, I did use genn greymane as my "likely to turn bad" example because I am not read up on my alliance lore, and to me he and the night elves seemed most likely to attack from what little background info I have on them. Yeah, Sylvannas is bad, and yeah, she deserves whatever she gets, but she raises the dead "for the survival of her race" and she DOES give them a choice of serving her or not, but yeah it's still not the best defense. Thanks for taking the time to type all of that out and provide another point of view, by the way, but I don't really want anduin to do ethically/morally wrong things without reason or because "old gods". if he does ANYTHING wrong, I want it to be something mild, not like a war crime or anything, just fate forcing his hand to choose the lesser of 2 (or more) evils.
