The architecture found in the Aegean islands never seizes to dazzle me. Those picturesque windows, those doors, those colorful pot plants, those handwritten signsā¦they all indirectly and unintentionally express moments of peopleās lives past and present.
The sense that a personal touch was used to create these elements canāt be ignored. There is so much love, so much patience, so much imagination that transpires a sense of warmth and welcome.
This is a tribute to the beauty found in the tiny streets on the islands of the Aegean - naively drawn forms with a splash of blue.
