I hate how Sasuke's portrayed in ANY ship multisaku ship. It just irks me that the other partner would flaunt the fact that they have Sakura and act like 'he missed out on a good woman'. Especially with Itachi, who is JUST as emotionally distant as Sasuke is. Why would Itachi defy his baby brother's love, who HE MURDERED HIS ENTIRE CLAN TO PROTECT, for a woman?

So true. I do ship LeeSaku and it is kind of annyoing going to their fanfiction bc A LOT of times it's exactly "oh Sasuke is such an ass". You can totally ship whatever you want but please it's so annyoing always making Sasuke the bad guy when it's Sakura who is FORCING HERSELF onto him

I feel like in MultiSaku ships, Sasuke is portrayed as jealous and regretful of 'losing Sakura' because the authors are self-inserting. In canon, he politely and sometimes aggressively rejected her harassment and since the authors see themselves in Sakura, it's like a blow to their self-esteem. So they write him as regretful and jealous as a way to protect their ego.

i love how 90% of the naruto fandom either boxes itachi as a selfless hero or as the epitome of evil when he was neither. if you see it from konoha's point of view, he's a hero, if you see it from the uchiha's side, he's a villian but at the end of the day HE IS A FUCKING VICTIM. AND HE DIED WITHOUT EVER REALISING IT LOVING THE VERY VILLAGE THAT BRAINWASHED HIM WHEN HE WAS A KID, TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE FACT THAT HE HAS SEEN WAR AT THE AGE OF 7 AND WOULD BE WILLING TO GO TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH TO PREVENT IT, EVEN IF IT MEANS KILLING HIS OWN CLAN AND BECOMING AN OUTCAST HATED BY EVERYBODY. i want to edo tensei itachi just to scream at him one time. I understand liking a ship/character and all but… you can’t possibly be a Sasuke stan if you love this. You may like this author’s version of him, as the author themselves said it’s their version and not canon, but for Kami’s sake don’t argue with people that say he’s ooc because he is.

Kishi’s Boruto!Sasuke - doesn’t blink when his wife is transformed into another dimension by a dangerous enemy (and don’t tell me ‘he was confident in her abilities, Naruto and Sarada had spent way more time with her and they did get worried, also later he proved he has poor knowledge of her medical skills), clearly sees his wife wants to kiss him - turns away, has a freaking cell phone + messanger hawks - Sakura says he never contacts her, how hard is it to send a freaking message and ask how is she or how his actual child looks like. When he finally comes to the village - goes to Uzumaki family.

Esaka’s Sasuke - gets possessive when another guy tries to touch Sakura, wants to give her a ring, says they have this great bond (when in fact they know shit about each other)

How are these two versions supposed to represent the same character/relationship?

I’m not saying Sasuke is some cold and emotionless character, because he isn’t, but he just doesn’t show much emotion when with Sakura because they don’t have an actual bond but their child. He got shocked and hugely worried when Naruto was hit with a metal rod, although he knows damn well Naruto can heal himself in two seconds (like he did), but doesn’t blink when the enemy he and Naruto had a hard time fighting transformed Sakura in another dimension.

SS fans love this idea of ‘cold boy doesn’t show much emotion but he clearly loves this girl and they don’t see physical contact as something they need to do’ while it’s actually that Sakura is obsessed with him(and confirmed in Gaiden that she CHASED after him) and they have no physical contact because Sasuke doesn’t WANT IT, not because they don’t need it. I agree that physical contacnt isn’t the most important thing in marriage/relationship but sorry not sorry if you have a cell phone and don’t call your wife in 12+ years you clearly don’t miss her.

Sasuke is not afraid of bonding or physical contact, he just doesn’t want it with Sakura, hell even he did come to the village he goes to the Uzumaki house first and genuinely cares about Boruto’s relationship with his parents, while he let Sarada believe Sakura isn’t her real mom and doesn’t make much effort, CANON MATERIAL ONLY, to actually bond with her. Sasuke is very clear about his feelings and emotions, as we’ve seen with Naruto and Itachi, and he isn’t afraid to show them, because he doesn’t care about what people think of him. Never has he given any mixed signals that would conclude something he doesn’t actually feel, if he hates someone or loves someone, he’s gonna show it, and not he’s not gonna do that every 500 hundred chapters, you just need to pay his character attention.

Wow that was a long one, again, love the book all you want I don’t care, but don’t make Sasuke seem like something he isn’t.

Sarada literally complained about Sasuke not being home WHEN HE IS IN THE VILLAGE (instead he was sitting on a freaking tree on training grounds waiting for Boruto to look for him) AND SAKURA DEAD-ASS DIDN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

I hate how she’s lying to Sasuke, Sarada is clearly not okay with the way Sasuke acts, and instead of Sakura saying “Hmmm maybe spend time with your kid when you’re in the village or send a freaking message.” she just says “We’re fine.”

Like, what was the purpose of that?

She, and Sasuke, can pull the “mission” excuse all they want but when Sasuke’s in the village there is no freaking excuse for not being home, which Sakura seems to be completely fine with considering she’s still “Mrs. Uchiha” and that’s all that ever mattered to her.

Seems Sasuke being at peace is more important than what Sarada wants and needs 🤷‍♀️

Idk man my best guess is that she didn’t want Sasuke to think Sarada has a problem with him so it a) doesn’t make Sasuke even more absent b) cause problems in her “perfect family” or c) Sasuke and Sarada having a problem is somehow blamed on her.

All novels are canon, they are supervised by kishi, and the cover art is drawn by him. It was said, in canon, that he keeps in contact by letters with her, and likes to tease his wife. Sasuke is this person. Try and deny it all you want but he isn’t sixteen and bloodthirsty anymore. He loves his family. And for the people that like to say that he was on the same mission since his was 19, he had a mission to pardon him, and that took six months. Then, he went on his redemption mission and came back, then took Sakura and came back, then he did raise sarada for a bit because when she was young she had the memory of her parents teaching her how to walk. He hasn’t been gone 12+ years, because it also said that sometimes he came home to sleep when sarada was younger. Cry all you want, but the novels are canon.

???What?? I think you’re a little confused. He didn’t go on three missions? But one thing’s for sure, he didn’t want Sakura there, and he sure as hell didn’t call her to come with him.

All the things you have stated were not made by Kishi. Only canon on them is Gaiden, which really did them dirty. All the other stuff is either fillers or novels written by someone who hasn’t created the characters and can’t understand them the way Kishi does, besides the author of your precious SS novel said themselves it ain’t canon.
